LD36

I am In

Time to make a game.
This is my 14th overall and 8th consecutive time entering.
Shame about the lack of ratings but I’m sure we’ll manage without them.

Using Game Maker: Studio, Paint.net, SFXR and anything else that looks convenient.

Good luck, have fun.

Ludum Dare 37

I’m In

Hi there everyone. Pretty excited to return to a more normal LD after the lack of voting last time.
This will be my 15th time entering, which seems like a lot considering that’s 5 years worth of jams (although I missed LD22 and 28 so slightly longer than 5 years)

As always I’ll be using Game Maker Studio, Paint.net, SFXR and Audacity if necessary. I’ve done a bit more preparation than usual for this jam so I’m hoping I can pull something off that’s at least on par with better games from the past.

Good Luck to everyone participating.

The Tortile Chamber – Complete

Well I finished my 15th Ludum Dare game and I am very happy with it. The Tortile Chamber is a first person puzzle game about exploring a room with some strange spatial properties. I’m glad (and a bit surprised) that I got it all done for the compo deadline and think this might be one of my better LD games.

You can play The Tortile Chamber HERE

LD 38

I'm In

Time for my 16th Ludum Dare!

I'll be using Game Maker Studio, Paint.net, SFXR and whatever else I need.

I'll only be able to use about a day and a half to work this time unfortunately, but that constraint might help me keep my scope down.

May there be a non-crappy theme.

LD 39

I'm In

I missed out last time, so better make a game for this one. Using Game Maker Studio, Paint.net and whatever else is necessary.

Game Complete: You're Winding Me Up Harvey

Hooray my game is done! It's a neat first person puzzle platformer based around the power of wind-up motors.

Try it out here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/youre-winding-me-up-harvey

LD 40

Hey There Everyone

Here is the traditional "I'm In" blog post. This will be my 17th time competing in Ludum Dare. I aim to participate in the Compo and will be using the trusty tools of GameMaker: Studio, Paint.net, SFXR and Audacity.

I've been pretty happy with my last years worth of jam games, especially after placing 11th overall in LD39, so I'm hoping the trend can continue. The a good chunk themes in the final round of voting look pretty reasonable this time around, so it's looking like it should be an enjoyable one.

Good luck everyone.

Post Morton

Hello. I'd like to introduce you to my 17th Ludum Dare game: Post Morton

Ludum Dare 46

I'm In - For the 20th Time

I've missed a bunch of events (the last one a submitted a game for was LD 42 in 2018), but I am ready to participate in my 20th Ludum Dare.

I'll be using: - Game Maker Studio 2 (1.4 if I do something 3d - haven't fully learned the new 3D system yet) - Paint.net - SFXR - Audacity

Good Luck, Have Fun

Submitted my 20th lifetime Ludum Date entry!

After coming really really close to giving up on the jam on Saturday afternoon, I have finished my entry!

This weekend I discovered how important it is to actually care about the game you are making. The first idea I started on was fine, but unexciting. Found myself struggling to work on it, so after a 3 hour break, decided to scrap it and start over.

The result is a Dominion-like called Apple Factory of the Insatiable

Ludum Dare 49

I'm In

Missed submitting in Ludum Dare 48 as I was unwell on the Sunday, so am hoping for a redemption arc this time.

Will be using Game Maker Studio 2, Paint.Net, SFXR and maybe Audacity and/or Bosca Ceoil
