I’m out, we’re in!
I wrote that I would be participating this weekend and still am. But with a twist! My brother-in-law will join me and we’ll enter the Jam instead of the Compo.
I wrote that I would be participating this weekend and still am. But with a twist! My brother-in-law will join me and we’ll enter the Jam instead of the Compo.
I am in.
Using:
My old XNA utilities with MonoGame for Android / Xamarin (which now run on Windows/ Windows 10/ XboxOne/ Android).
BXFR for Sound Effects.
Paint.Net for Graphics.
(Usually no music :P)
Last time around:
I’m in for the second time! Can’t wait to begin! LÖVE, ChipTone and Aseprite a ready to go
The usual stuff, I and u/GLProgrammer are attending this LD for the first time with:

Super excited for this Ludum Dare, it will be my first one. I plan to use
Love2D
Sublime Text
Aseprite
and LMMS
Can’t wait!
This will be my first Ludum Dare and second game jam ever! I’ll be participating in the jam and using the following:
Engine: Unity
Art: Photoshop, Illustrator, and Blender
Sound: Still researching! Let me know what your favorite tools are for makin’ noise.
Can’t wait to get into it and see what everyone makes!
Finally I get to participate in one of this, I always hear about them when they are done. I am still deciding between a PSP game or a normal Windows game, as my POCKET Chip is still in the mail
I will be using:
-Photoshop
-Maya Autodesk
-And my programming skills (“Unity” or “LTE Game Engine”)
Hope this will be a fun experience for everybody
For this LD now i changed some things and now my choices are
Engine/Language: Java+Some Framework / Unity/C#
Art: GIMP(pixel art) / InkScape(vector)
Sound Effects: sfxr
Music: Beepbox(i dont know a easy music maker, anyway maybe i’ll dont put music in my game)
This is my first ludum dare. I’ve never technically finished a game before, so my biggest goal is to just finish something in the 48 hours.
I’m planning on using Unity/C# for development, paint.net for visuals, sfxr/bfxr for sounds, and lmms + my keyboard for music.
Can’t wait!
This will, hopefully, be my 3rd LD! IRL might get in the way but that probably just means a non-compo entry this time, we’ll see!
I’ll most likely be sticking with Unity/C# again. Possibly pure JavaScript depending on the theme, I have a couple ideas for some of the themes that would be really simple.
I put together a simple Memory Game written in 100% HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/JQuery. No downloads required to build it. If you are interested, you can play it here. Thought newbie’s to LD might like to see a simple game they can build but I didn’t get around to writing the actual tutorial before the event as I planned, feel free to look at the source code as it is fully commented. Remember, it doesn’t have to be fancy so long as you had fun and learned something in the process!.
So I’ve done one year of Ludum Dare, so that’s pretty cool.
I’ll have to start one day late, so I’ll enter the Jam despite having only 48 hours.
I’ll be using:
My brother may or may not do the music for my game.
So hopefully this time will be great (it will be)
Thats right! I’m in for #3. I wont be able to stream this time, but I will try to post here often!
I’ll be using GameMaker: Studio for art, programming and level design and either BFXr or my phone for sounds. See you then

Can’t wait to actually have a chance to work on it this year! Been a while since we have done anything what so ever… So jumping in head first this time round!
Using
Gamemaker Studio
PhotoShop / Illustrator
Fruityloop studio
and Good Ol’ Fashion hard work.
..
pizza too.
LD #36
Planning on doing a Jam entry this weekend. This will by my 9th LD, but first time as a team. We will probably use UE4 or my game engine depending on our idea. Good luck everyone!

I jammed last time and now trying compo. Using F# and Unity and limiting myself to one variable – everything else will be stateless functions.
I’ve done the last several ludum dares solo and typically went for the compo since it was impossible to compete with people in the jam as a solo amateur. I plan to make use of the extra 24 hours this time and compete in the jam, assuming those two haven’t changed.
That said. I use Unity, Gimp, and when forced to SFXR or BFXR.
I’d be interested in partnering up with one or two other people depending on roles. Mainly interested in finding an artist, modeler, or musician.
Engine-Gamemaker Studio: Professional
Animation/Graphics-Paint.net
Audio-Bfxr
Whattup folks lets get this baby going
Excited to participate in my first LD after eyeing it for quite some time.
ill be using a completely legit GM8 pro and SFXR
Been scouring through the blog, finding many poor souls seeking teammates but getting little to no response. Thought I’d try and compile a list to help out.
If you want to be added to this list, please provide a link to your blog post. If you want me to remove you from this list, or if I’ve misinterpreted your main role or what sort of people you are looking for, do tell.
Will keep this updated as well as I can until it starts, at which point I’ll go jamming and that’s the end of it! c:
If someone strikes your interest, click the link to go over to their post and leave a comment there rather than here (or better, if they’ve provided contact information in their post, use that).

I went back through the blog about two months, so if I’ve accidentally caught somebody who was really referring to Mini LD, oops! Do tell.
