So, last time I used a custom game engine, which I do want to do more in the future. But, I started working on a programming language / scripting language for my game engine, and so I haven't had time to fix the multiple major problems that the engine had. (Primarily: no physics support whatsoever, which makes it much harder to do basic things.)
But good old Godot still works great, and I haven't made anything too exciting with it for a while. So I'll probably just use Godot for this Ludum Dare.
Not sure what I'll do for graphics. I've wanted to do pixel art for a while, so I basically forced myself to do so last time, but I wasn't too happy with the results. (I really should probably practice pixel art more!)
So I'll probably end up with vector graphics or similar.
As a final note, this is the first time since Ludum Dare 45 that I have essentially all of Monday free... so I could participate in the Jam this time. I'm honestly not sure if I would be able to manage my time carefully enough to make a reasonable Jam entry, but it could be fun to try.
Good luck everyone!
