Finished my first LD jam game!

My grandma died this week. I cannot have anything else in my brain. So I wrote this story adapted from my grandma.

I tried my best to make this story easy, humorous, and happy.

Life is planting karma - some buddhist said. After planting for over 80 years, it is time to harvest.

And "HARVEST" is a usually happy word! Always celebrate, instead of being sad!

heyo! i'm done, yet again. brainstormed and went from harvest -> harvest festival -> mid-autumn festival -> lanterns and mooncakes. did i stretch it too far?

5th ld and 9th jam overall — i'm so glad i'm still here. anyways, i just finished my game, and this is probably one of my rockiest jams — yesterday i took a nap right in the middle of production and almost gave up. but it turned out pretty okay, and i quite like the product!

i usually go for... rather unconventional takes on the theme. maybe this one isn't as bad? how did you all interpret the theme?

I'm working on my own time, so I'll just participate in extra.

I just finished chapter 2! One more chapter and the three different endings to go... This is a Jam entry, so I think I'm going to get there.

I'm happy with this game I made 🙂

After over 2 years of doing no game development, I've created game in less than 48 hours. Even if I'm not so happy with e.g. a gameplay, I really like visuals and a mood of the game. I look forward to play your games and check your progress!

Somehow, I managed to finish with something I am decently proud of and with some time to spare =)

Backstory: not all farmers have easy life... Harvey here is particularly unlucky and every harvest season he have to convince his unwilling crops to be harvested.
