Hopefully my eyes will hold over weekend so I'll be able to do something better than the last time. Thought about giving Godot a test run, finally... but I'll probably stick with Unity of love and hate as usual.

Obligatory I'm in post!

I slept about 20 min last night, so I'm probably gonna start this jam by sleeping the first 10 hours.

I will use Unity & C# like usual, but I'll try to make my own sounds as well to keep things interesting :)

Well, as the title says, this will be my first Ludum Dare.

I've done some game jams in the past, but nothing as big or popular as LD.

Let's see how this goes! I haven't use Unity is a long time so this is the perfect excuse to tinker with it again.

Ok. While i'm writing this there is still time before the jam starts... 10 minutes. A little exciting x_x

I've wanted to participate for years but never really had the time. I only found out LD is happpening now 2 hours ago but I guess if I can come up with something that works for the theme I could maybe get something made. Will be using Unity as it's what I know although it's been quite a long time since I did anything with it.

Sixth jam together but this time, we've got a friend as a third to do a little bit of music for us when he's free this weekend so that'll be a nice addition! We are woefully unprepared as always losing track of how quickly it creeps up but so ready to become increasingly unhinged over the next 72hrs!

This is going to be my third Ludum Dare. Both times before I did compo games with Construct 3, this time I will be trying out GDevelop.

This is going to be my first game jam since 2021! I've been dealing with burnout from academic stress since 2019 and it has taken a lot of the joy of making games from me. I'm glad that I can finally say that I am recovering and learning to love making games again!

First time after so many years of health issues. Gonna do the whole project without using my hands! Let's see how that goes! No idea how I will test the other games though, just with eye tracking and voice commands :D
