Ludum Dare 37 December 9–12, 2016

AAGH Games is in for LD37

It’s jam time again and we – AAGH Games – are in again. We will be using Unity again, and we’ll also be live streaming throughout the weekend on our Twitch channel. What will we make this time? There’s only one way to find out!

Good luck to everyone, have fun, and jam safely!

I’m in! (also, a question)

Guys, how many of you get into ludum dare with a fixed idea in mind regardless of the theme and then make small changes to fit it in?
Would you consider it cheating?

And if you already have an idea in mind, plans on how to do it come up, hard to stop it. at what point would you say it’s inappropriate?
And what about code base, is it o.k to build the engine you’ll use for the jam before hand? even if it’s specific to that genre/plan?

I’m coming into this with a fixed idea in mind, and an engine + surrounding basic stuff that will be needed. and I also have almost everything figured out about how I’m going to implement it.
the theme might get shoved in later.
I want to be honest about it and ask you guys if you’d consider that cheating, or unfair.

Please reply and tell me what you think.
so I don’t feel like a douchebag.

===============

specifically I wanted to make a simple multiplayer p2p game. but considering how fickle that might be I decided to move to a dumb messaging server, that has NO LOGIC, it only stores/transfers
text messages. I already made the server and tested it + the class required to communicate using it (hence the above question about code base).
please note, it’s a general server that can be used for anything, it’s not specific to to this game mechanics.
I’m going to release that server as open-source so people can upload their own, in case mine will go offline.

I also used plans from my previous distributed-system app, on how to make it work without any central authority. taking some ideas from Bitcoin :)

so my current starting point is the communication base, and the formulas/math required for a distributed-system.
some of it is very general, BUT some of it is specific for the game mechanics I planned to have.

The general plan is to make a monster/pet raising game, that will require no central authority. but will still allow battling and leveling.
yeah I’m crazy for even considering it, but I think I can full it off.

I’m not going to use unity this time. I’m using C# WPF!

why the hell use WPF?! you may ask. because I need something that is mostly based on GUI (no game loop, world map), and I required some of the advanced out of the box features of C#.
I’m aware this will not target linux/mac users sadly.

I’m going solo this time, so music/sound/graphics will all be free assets.
If any artist wants to make some monster art, that would be great though!

Thanks for reading my wall of text, and good luck!

Good luck with your game!

No, that’s not cheating since people will rate you for theme, so it’s our own mission to see what games were made from theme and what games were just adapted, and rate how much did they fit in the theme. Also, probabily everyone does that, since the ideas starts getting life some days earlier than the event.

My opinion:

I like doing everything during the LD time, except for just small base code (a class that opens a window). This adds to the challenge for me.

I think that Ludum Dare is all about trying/learning new things so if you already had something you wanted to try out then in my book that’s no problem. The theme is just one of several things you can be judged on.
09. Dec 2016 · 17:39 UTC
Having an idea already? Not cheating. Having a game already made and then adapting it? Cheating.

I’m in for the first time!

So, at first i hesitated due to having very little experience…but eventually thanks to a friend i decided that i will take part of this Ludum Dare!

I won’t be making any spectacular, in fact, i might make the worst game this Ludum Dare has ever seen!

Anyhow, at the moment the current stuff i will be using is:

Unity

Bfxr (for sound effects)

Gimp (for spirtes)

And perhaps something else if something gets in my way.

Anyhow, i hope Ludum Dare will be the way i am hoping it to be – fun and most importantly, giving much experience and motivation in making games and attending the next Ludum Dare!!

Gonna do this!

Hi erribody,

I’ve long had a interest in gamedev (mostly reading and dabbling with tutorials/ideas), but I recently acquired the gamemaker bundle and I have free time this weekend, so I’ll be joining! My main goal is finishing a product by the time the jam is done, as that would be a personal best 😉

My tools will be PS, GMS, and my ipad apps for sound design. Looking forward to this! Good luck and have fun, y’all.

I’m in

First LD for me. Hopefully I’ll be able to slap something together. If not it’s gonna be fun anyway.

Good luck, everyone!

I’m In with Game O Verre

After 3 days of intensive Game Maker training I’m ready for this Ludum Dare !

This time I will use the Game O Verre game controller for my game (as I already did for LD 34 but… that was not ready yet ^^ )

http://www.instructables.com/id/Game-O-Verre-Play-With-Your-Glasses-DIY-Version/

This is a Game O Verre prototype !

The Game O Verre is a game controller that permit you to play by only touching your glass and drinking in it, and with up to five glass for peoples who have friends (or very thirsty) !
I hope I’ll find something funny to do with it this week end. :)

If you want more info on the Game O Verre (and his future crowdfunding campaign) you can check here : http://www.instructables.com/id/Game-O-Verre-Play-With-Your-Glasses-DIY-Version/

You can also make your own copy of it if you want, it’s open ! 😉

Super excited, with a team of three on our first jam.

We’ve got and arist a sound guy and I’m making the game. We’ll probably be using either Unreal, or game maker, but the jury is still out on that. I look forward to playing your gaemz and I hope we can put something foreward worth playing (if not, my bad). Best of luck to everyone out there, we’ll see ya at the finish line.

I’m in

Hey all,

I’m in for this one. I’ll be using Unity (because I f#cking love C#) and InkScape for graphics. This time I promise not to make another Alien game, I don’t even like aliens that much.. but all my previous entries have seemed to revolve around them.

Good luck and have fun all.

I’m in!

This is my 3rd compo. I’ve quit 2 of 3, this time I plan to finish again. I’ll be using Unity, Photoshop, and Reason.

I am going in :)

Hi, everyone. It’ll be my second time entering compo, maybe this time i’ll do something better.

I guess i’ll be using c#/xna with some my old code or flixel, paint.net and graphicsgale for graphics, and maybe this time some free tool for sound.

Good luck to everyone!

**Quick Update:** Submit games **here**, post blogs on **LUDUMDARE.COM**

:fearful:

Blog posting here on LDJAM.COM wont be in good enough shape in time for the start of Ludum Dare 37. :sob: So instead, you should make your progress blog posts over on http://ludumdare.com. Many people have already been doing this, so it makes sense to keep blogging all in one place.

That said, you WILL be submitting your game here on LDJAM.COM. Also, be sure to come here for the Theme Announcement (or https://twitter.com/ludumdare). I'm curious to see how well things hold up (before I get some key optimizations in).

For more details, see this thread:

http://ludumdare.com/compo/2016/12/09/submit-your-game-on-ldjam-com-post-blogs-on-ludumdare-com/

I’m in!

This will be my 3rd LD (3rd time’s a charm)… this time I plan on finishing the compo in time!

First time I used Unity, second time I used LÖVE, this time I think I’ll give GameMakerStudio 2 a shot.

I’m in

It’s my first Ludum Dare. Super hyped to see what everybody is going to create, while trying to create something too. Good luck everybody and have fun 😀

Second Time

Well gonna try my second LDjam with Unity again.

Last time I was on my own wanted to try and get an artist this time around if any1 is interested.

GL everyone!

We’re in again! :)

alexmugford and I are ready for our second Ludum Dare! 😀

Excited to get jamming again — this time we’ll be writing our game in C on top of the Doomsday Engine, and using DoomBuilder and SLADE for level and wad editing!

Best of luck to everyone, looking forward to seeing what everybody comes up with! 😀

I’m In

Hi there everyone. Pretty excited to return to a more normal LD after the lack of voting last time.
This will be my 15th time entering, which seems like a lot considering that’s 5 years worth of jams (although I missed LD22 and 28 so slightly longer than 5 years)

As always I’ll be using Game Maker Studio, Paint.net, SFXR and Audacity if necessary. I’ve done a bit more preparation than usual for this jam so I’m hoping I can pull something off that’s at least on par with better games from the past.

Good Luck to everyone participating.

I’m In

Got my mtn dew stash and my workspace ready! looks like it’s that time of the year again; that magical time when you revoke family and friends for the warm loving confines of sleep deprivation and seemingly impossible deadlines. Christmas? No. LD? Yes.

GML, BFXR, FamiTracker

See you on the other side, my friends

I’m In!

This is the first time I’ve made one of these posts, but this Ludum Dare is going to have a lot of firsts for me, so I might as well start now.

For my first two entries, I used Khan Academy, which is not a great platform for making games. So this time I’m using Love2D for my entry. Problem is, I’m not really experienced with Lua. Like, at all. So this will be an adventure.

I’m not sure what I’m going to do for sound. I might use Garageband. That’ll be a first.

I’m also not sure what I’m going to use for making sprites. It’ll depend on what game I want to make.

Finally, I’ll be publishing on itch.io for the first time.

Good luck everyone!

First Ludum dare

We’re in !

We have a team, and it will be our 5th LD together !
Let’s do this ! :)

I’m in

it’s that time again!

This 2-day romp is what I feel like I need to get back into the groove of game making again.

So ill be using the usual tools. (and a few new ones)

Engine: Construct 2

2D Graphics:  GIMP2, Vectr

Audio: FLstudio11 and touch OSC to control it. and SFXR (if I can’t make some little noises in an effective time)

Have fun!

I’m in :)

Hi everyone.

This is my second time participating in the LD this time i am probably going to create a 2D in Unity.

My Objective in this comp is to make a game that focus Entirety in one mechanic an make the mechanic fell good and fun to play. (I  hope so ).

Good luck everyone!

Got everything sorted out and all the groceries for this weekend. Going to use Löve with my boilerplate. Stoked.

My first LD

Hi there,

This is gonna be my first LD attempt. I’ll be starting a day late but hope I can finish with something that can be played. My tools are Godot, Piskel/Gimp and Audacity.

Waiting for the theme now. Good luck to everyone!

I’m in.

I’m a terrible coder, with next to no experience. What’s the worst that could happen?

Going to be using unity, photo-shop, audition,  and a lot of blind luck. :)

I’m in! for the first time! +first post

Hi!

Gonna be participating and streaming :) This is not only my first LD, but first ‘game jam’ event of any kind I’ve participated ever!

Might be using Python if I get py2exe/pyinstaller/similar cooperating before LD starts. Right now generated .exe throws arbitrary errors and I am having hard time pinpointing the problem.

If I dont get it solved, then I’ll be using Haxe, which I already have work ready & stable. Might go with Haxe also because I have been using it far longer than Python.

Oh well, back to doing LD preparations!-Fixxel

Are you using Python2 or Python3? Personally I used Python2 for my LD34 entry and I compiled my game with py2exe but if you are using Python 3 you might have a look at Cx_freeze.

Also, good luck!

First Ludumdare ! So Excited.

I am a full stack developer but never tried Game Development.

I am going to use Libgdx, Photoshop, Illustrator. Waiting for the theme.

I’m in

I’m in again for 37. This time I’ll be using Python, Kivy for the UI, Reason for audio, and I’ve decided to do my graphics in watercolor on 140lb coldpress that I’ll scan in and pipe through photoshop.

Good luck to all! Don’t forget to sleep.

I’m In, #8 but also a first

All 7 times I’ve used the same custom starter kit.  It’s realtime, and physics-based.  I know it works, and how to design for it.

For #8, I take a new weapon into battle:  A turn-based, grid-based kit I’ve been building.  It has flaws.  Turn-based games have different design problems I’m not familiar with.  Risk++, not sure how it will go… but excited to find out.

Tech:

  • Unity
  • Inkscape or GraphicsGale
  • Reaper+VSTs and my MIDI controller, or BFXR

Just joined LD

yeh I just got in

Im hoping the theme will be leave something behind. Thats the only one I have an idea for…

I’m in!

First time doing a Ludum Dare or any kind of Game Jam. Hopefully this jam will help get the gears moving again, so I can work on my old projects afterwards with a fresh perspective.

Using Unity Engine, Gimp, Blender and whatever audio tools I end up finding useful 😛

I’m in.

Engine: Clickteam Fusion 2.5
Graphics: Clip Studio Paint
Audio: Milkytracker

Woo, first LD Jam!

I’m in, I’ll be using Unity, Blender, and probably GIMP. I don’t know what I’m doing but I figure that’s what LD is for!

Today I will get really drunk, and tomorrow morning I will start doing the game.

I was in the last LD, so here we go again :). Happy Jamming.

I’m in !

Hi everyone c:

I’m in ! (for Compo)

I’m using :

  • Construct 2
  • Aseprite
  • Cubase 5
  • Massive
  • Maybe my guitars

Also, you can follow my progress on Twitter here : @Kano_Stuff

I’ll stream the whole development of my game too, i’ll send the link on my Twitter account.

Good luck guys !

I’m in!

I’m in this weekend after a ~2 year hiatus! Quite excited!

Tools:

Framework – Phaser/Javascript

Graphics – Gimp

Sound if I get around to it – sfxr, MuseScore

Fib is in the compo

I’m striving for the comp this time around.

I’m using:

  • Construct 2
  • PyxelEdit
  • BFXR
  • FamiTracker

I’m in!

Using Unity 5.5, GIMP, FL Studio & BFXR.

Cheers!

I’m in once again!

Last Jam I tortured myself by learning how to do interfaces and making a Doom-Clone from almost nothing. This time I’m going to torture myself by practicing level design and a different approach to how I design the game.

Things I’m probably going to use:

Engine: Unity (C#)

Art: ASEPrite

Sound: BXFR/Audacity

Music: No idea yet, probably gonna try LMMS but who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Level Editing: Tiled (via Tiled2Unity http://www.seanba.com/tiled2unity) Because 3D kicked my ass last time.

Good luck to everyone, especially to all the newcomers for their first Ludum Dare! Make sure you have your coffee ready 😉

I’m In!

First timer :)

Plan to use:

Engine: unity3d

Graphics: GIMP

Audio: Audiocity, LMMS,

Menu?: Unity’s Game Jam Menu Template: https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/40465

Would the template be allowed in compo? Or Jam only?

If it’s a free asset from the asset store I would say that falls under “base code” for compo. You’re required to provide the source code to your game for the compo, so paid code assets are kind of a legal gray area (since you’d be breaking copyright just to post your game’s source).

I’m in.

This would be my fifth Ludum Dare.

In this Ludum Dare I decided to try something different.
Instead of GameMaker i will use C++ with SDL, this will raise chance of failure but it worth of try.

Tools: vim, gimp, aseprite, lmms, SFXR, tiled.

I really like this moment of suspense, when you don’t know anything about game you would make.
Sometimes I ending up with something weird…

I’m in, and I’m excited.

I don’t know what I’m going to use, but this is my first time and I’ll figure something out.

Good luck to everyone participating!

Here comes a new challenger!!!

Hello people! I’m Vinicius Osti. I’m quite noob at these jam things and this will be my first Ludum Dare. I’ll enter the compo.

GameMaker Studio is the engine I use the most. Some of the games I made: https://viniciusosti.itch.io/

As I’m new to this, how can I post updates on the game I’m working? Do I make new blog posts for each update? Or I just make comments to this post?

Thanks, and best of luck for all!

I’m In!

First timer :)

Plan to use:

Engine: unity3d

Graphics: GIMP

Audio: Audiocity, LMMS,

hope i do well for my first LDJAM

I’ll be making a game with Tilt Brush + Unity

So I got a Vive a couple of weeks ago and the app I was looking most forward to use was Tilt Brush. I think VR has a massive potential not just to play games in but also to use it to make games. So that’s why I have decided that I’ll make all the art for my LD entry in Tilt Brush and import it into Unity. I have already run a pipeline test and it’s fairly easy to get an FBX from Tilt Brush you can import into the engine.

A Tilt Brush sketch imported into Unity

A Tilt Brush sketch imported into Unity

Google has even provided shader code you can use in Unity, of course since Tilt Brush is made in Unity why they don’t just release the textures, materials and shaders are beyond me. As it is many of the brushes such as the more effect based ones don’t render correctly so I might have to code some more shaders during the jam.

So what kind of game do I want to make? No clue! I’m looking forward to hear the theme :)

It s my first time and im new to gamedev but i want to try :)
I will use GameMaker, Aseprite and Ableton Live8

First Time – Doing the Jam

I tried to (re)learn C++/SDL2 this week and get some base code set up. I can at least get sprites drawn, but we’ll see how far I get in terms of actual gameplay.

Engine: C++/SDL2

Graphics: GIMP

Audio: Audacity + badly played instruments/voice

Platforms: Windows, Linux, maybe Mac if I can get a friend to compile it.

Good Luck!

First Timer!

Newbie here! My goal is just to submit SOMETHING playable. Doesn’t have to be great or pretty. I want to get my foot in the door for future ones.

Awaiting the theme announcement… Should be a fun weekend!

Lets see how this goes!

First timer in!

I’ll be hoping to achieve a game centred around art. I’ll have helpers for story and music and we’ll be aiming for a more cinematic experience.

I’ll be using:

Unity

Blender

As for my partners I do not know equipment. Have fun jamming everyone!

I’m in.

This is my first ludum dare. I’m going to be using Unity 2D, paint.net and sfxr.

We’re in

We are in for the Jam event! We are:

Hey, another 3D entry. I’ll be following your stream for sure!

Gonna Solo It

So I haven’t done LD in a while, but I’m taking time this weekend to try and crank something out solo. I’ll be working in Unity, probably 2D but it depends on what the theme ends up being. Already trying to brainstorm ideas for all the theme finalists, since I won’t have a full uninterrupted weekend to do this.

Best of luck to all!

Super Lonebot Ludum Dare Extravaganza

Lonebot swag Mati

Hiya! We’re in.

Since things are tight this time around, we’re only going to have 1 day to make a game instead of the usual 3 days. Let’s hope we can cram in as much content as possible!

GLHF! ♥

First LD! I’m definitely in :)

Okay, so I haven’t made a fully completed game since I was in college and figured this would be a great chance to force myself to complete one. Just started learning GameMaker Studio but I have a solid handle on it, I think :)

Tools: Gamemaker Studio – Photoshop – Aseprite – FL Studio – Audacity

Lets see what kind of trouble we can get into in 48 hours. Good luck everyone!!

At long last.

I’ve been trying to participate in Ludum Dare for the past 5 years, but I’ve always magically missed it due to one scheduling conflict or another. My time has come. :)

Tools:

Engine: Game Maker Studio (Normally I’d use a proprietary engine I made in C++, but I’ve recently fallen in love with Game Maker)

Art: Aseprite

Music: Ignite

Can’t wait for a long weekend of sleepless nights and massive quantities of pizza!

I’m in!!!

It’s my first Ludum Dare. I am a unity programmer,  it’s my first to do some art work, so it’s a big challenge for me.

I will try my best.

Good luck everyone!

Am I in?

Yes.

Looking forward to this!

This will be my first Ludum Dare, really looking forward to participating. I’ll be using Photoshop and maybe Inkscape for art. My game development tool will be Game Maker Studio. For audio most likely bfxr.

We’re in!

Hello! Me and my friends are going to participate. It will be our first experience in making complete game. LD looks like it is going to be a nice little push to make us actually do something. We are terrified and excited. Hope we will be able to make something worthy.

We’re in

Hi there.

I have teamed up with 2 of my friends, this is going to be our first try

Game Engine: GameMaker Studio

Sound and Music: FL Studio 12, Rytmik Ultimate

I’m In

Finally, another LD weekend where I’m not going to be busy. A sleepless weekend is on the table.

First Timer Here

Good Morning all,

Posting to confirm I’m in. I’ve been wanting to do LD since LD20 or so. This weekend I finally get my chance. As much as I love Love2d, I’ll be using GameMaker instead (although sometimes, I find I’m writing just as much GML code as I would be in LUA). I have to get used to using objects again and less of locking everything into tables/arrays. I think I might be a bit embarrassed, when and if I finish my project – releasing the project afterwords – aka, don’t laugh at my code or the way I’ve structured things. 😛

Good Luck everyone. Looking forward to competing and seeing what y’all come up with.

-Arno

Wubba lubba dub dub!

Taking part in my second LD after my family was nice enough to organize a trip to friends so I can have the house to myself.

Switching from Cocos2D/C++ to GameMaker Studio, hopefully spending less time coding and more time creating.

Good luck to everyone!

Music Producer keen to collaborate!

Hey I’m Liam, and I’m a music producer and composer/songwriter. Im not too confident with coding at all, bu still want to participate in this for the first time! If anyone wants to team up for the Jam, then email me at mocadium@gmail.com, I think this’ll be really fun to do!

My first LD as a programmer

Hi all, this is my first time as a programmer, starting to feel the rush!

I might be in (if I can find time)

Hey all! I’d like to enter my second LD but I honestly do not know if I will find time to produce anything this week-end. Anyway, even if I don’t make it, I think I’ll attempt to produce a game based on the theme chosen. Gotta keep those skills in good shape, right?

Good luck everyone!

I should be in too if I can find an OS soon enough

I’m in!

This will be my third Ludum Dare (Compo), and the plan is similar to the last time.

I will be using:
Game Engine – Unity
Art – Paint.NET, Blender, OpenSCAD/OSCADSharp
Music – Autotracker.py
Sfx – sfxr/bfxr

One additional note – I’ve been messing around with the touch API for Unity, and I’m hoping to put out an Android version of whatever I make in addition to my typical PC game.

Good luck everyone!

I’m in

A few days ago I’ve read that LD37 is coming up, and I thought that I finally should give it a try myself. Suddenly, I’ve got an idea, and was so excited about it that I couldn’t wait, so I’ve already started. That basically means I’m here for the Jam.

I’ve decided that a browser game would be the best choice for LD, so mine’s based on vanilla JS and PHP. I’ve worked alone these few days, but I probably will have some help from my friends during the jam. I think I’ll also do the streaming thing, just for fun.

I’m in!

This is my first LD! Soo excited ^^

I’m in!

I’m in for my second LD and this time around I hope to do something with better art… even though I’m still shit at drawing, I’m currently trying to get better and LD is a good place to challenge myself.

Tools I’ll be using:

  • Unity3d
  • Visual Studio 2015 Community Edition
  • OpenCanvas 6
  • and if I got time anything free and easy to use for sound and maybe music… (maybe I’ll look what everyone else posted here, as tools for music/sounds ^^)

I’m in I think

I’m gonna be busy Sunday so I think I’ll submit to the jam this time. Tentatively gonna use Unity for pretty much the first time, and gimp and lmms. I might look into joining a team maybe? Hmu if you also might? twitter: @jumpcarefully email: swellbastion@gmail.com

I’m In!

Here for my very first game jam and bringing some co-workers with me. Hopefully we’ll make something fun to play and have a good time in the process. We don’t have a single art resource, but our software is strong.

Good luck everyone!

Setting things up for t’morrow

Pre-setup

LD37 isn’t starting until 03.00AM Saturday here in Sweden, so me and my buddies are putting down some time to get prepared for t’morrow at the locale we’ll be spending the weekend in.

I’ve been working a couple of weeks on the game engine that I will use for this jam, so hopefully it’ll be light on bugs and have the features I need for the challenge at hand.

Last LD I attended was 22, so it’s almost 5 years to the date since my last jam.

Not much more to rant about right now, so I’ll continue my gamepad implementation, hopefully I’ll be a bit better at updating the blog during the jam.

Cheerioz!

Sweet! =)

HELLO WE’RE IN HERE

Saying “Hi” for me and @McDonnough

Doing that Jam thing for the first time, is it like marmalade?

Centria GameLab student is joining in!

Hello! I’m one of the guys at Centria Gamelab in Finland
This is my first ludum dare, and i will mostly be doing graphical and auditive stuff with different programs like

Blender
Reaper
Photoshop
Fruity Loops
Etc.

In our team there will be 4 to 9 people
Can’t wait! :) Gonna be awesome!

Almost there! I’m still in, I think? :P

Howdy! :)

I’m still in, no escape now, I hope I can come up with some good idea over here! 😀

Taking part in the jam, though, cause I might have stuff to do this weekend.

Decided on using GameMaker:Studio (v1) for it, might use some stuff from a small code library from mine and @ruerobgames‘ sandbox project. It’s called the SLAM (Small Library of Amazing Madness, though it’s not that amazing and not so mad) and you can find it here: https://bitbucket.org/hykyteam/the-slam (it’s just a bunch of code we reuse, stuff we test, things from tutorials and some junk code, not really a “game” :P).

Good Luck for Everyone! Cheers! :)

I’m in

Hello, first time on ldjam, first time making something like complete game. Wanna give it a chance and make most of it 😉
Will be using Unity3d I guess

A New Challenger Approaches!

It’s been a while since I’ve done a Ludum Dare. The last few ended in tears but this time I’ve been practicing ahead of time! I think I’m gonna do it. Wish me luckiness!

I’m in for the Compo!

I’m in !

Lest’s do it ! Rock ‘n gold !

Jam

Im in for the JAMMMMMM!

I’m in?

Ludum Dare is a 48/72 hour Event where people design games

Considering I’ll not have a computer with me late friday, all of saturday, most of sunday, I should participate in the 72h compo.

The only problem with that is I have school monday… probably… and a bit of a day (well, really, a bit of two days) is not really enough to develop a game, is it?

I may or may not participate in the Ludum Dare Game Jam

EDIT – I don’t think I have school at 6:00PM…

Another first timer

It’s my first time i enter the LD. Hope that at least i will manage to create a simple game.

I won’t use the full 48h. I will start the event with getting sleep. Had to work today and monday too. End of the year is getting closer.

Used technique:
– Canvas/Javascript/…

Used tools:
– Programmers Notepad/Paint.net/Audacity

Good luck and have fun !!

Let’s Do This!

I’m going to try to submit a game for this Ludum Dare.

Tools:
– Unity
– PyxelEdit (cannot recommend this enough!)
– Bfxr
– Audacity
– Maybe a little photoshop

Best of luck to everyone participating!

I’m in again!

Last time I couldn’t finish my game in time so , I’ll do my best this time.

I’m Kukiol, Artist and game maker, I use unity, and flash to make my games. I’ll probably have problems at the moment of exporting and publishing my game, but we’ll see!

I’ll post here my progress , cat gifs and struggle!

GO POTATO!
