You must uncover your yard from the infinitely falling leaves! Look out for logs! Try and beat your High Scores! Post World Records in the comments! (Some browsers don't support saving High Scores) This game was made for the Ludum Dare 40 Game Jam/Compo. The theme was "The more you have, the worse it is". I hope you enjoy! https://youtu.be/SEJSaUeBhAw

The game took FOREVER to get through, but it's finally playable. It's a grind (Idle) based game inspired from cookie clicker and mixed with a racing game, with a retro theme. Visit my page! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/a-racer-can-idle

I chose Idle and Racing (and also retro). I get my inspiration from cookie clicker but I added a racing aspect to the game. My friends seem to enjoy this game, and you even get addicted to it if you play it enough. There is a grind at the beginning of the game, but once you get your first engine the game is smooth sailing! Try to multitask, leave the game alone, see how far you get! This game has an undefined ending when you get everything upgraded, but I plan to update this game because it has so much potential. Just remember to give the grind a chance before you give up, Enjoy!

I realize now that this game is a basic prototype and definitely needs to be updated after the voting ends. My friends seem to enjoy this game, and you even get addicted to it if you play it enough. First of all, I'm in for my fourth jam. Last jam, me and a friend met on this site and we worked as a team. I did all the programming and he did all the graphics. This year we want to find someone to do sound design! This doesn't necessarily mean you must be fantastic at it, but if you have any experience working with sound let me know! It's also good if you know how to model or code, but we really want someone to be focused on sound/music.
If you are interested in joining our team as a programmer or modeler/artist, the more the merrier, leave a message down below! (It helps if you write your discord username and code so we can chat to there).
Good Luck all, Ryfi
cough cough
This is a sneak peak of what we made together last time, imagine if we had a bigger team (and a dedicated sound designer)

When I get a theme like this it's an obvious YES. These are the only themes that should win, like this was the only YES I did.
Just Kidding :ok_hand:
Everyone here falls somewhere on this chart...(This is not accurate by any means)
If you haven't checked out our game Impatient Patients you're really missing out. Although the gameplay can be tough at times, learning the game is part of the fun, and if you take the time to talk to the characters, accepting and rejecting them, you can find some pretty fun Easter eggs! Hope you enjoy!

https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/44/bloody-accord If you haven't played our game, you definitely should! It's pretty fun! You have to learn the right tactics to destroy waves of on-coming enemies by buying shop items and using spells. See how long you can last!

The name of the game is Balloony and it's all about keeping a balloon alive and up in the air! Try it out and beat your high score!
