Three and a half hours over and we have a stickman with a burning ass.
Here he is: Our sword wielding fire ball launching chosen one to sacrifice his blood and tears for the task of vanishing a demonic evil he sold his soul to.

It's oddly satisfying spending half the night playing the nonsense you came up with even after the jam ended. It turned out to be more fun than we even expected!
Want your part of our fun, too?
PS: Enjoy the music!

Yay, we released a new version of our game Boredom Be Gone which includes several minor fixes and also some new content. You can find a detailed change log on the download site.
Feel free to check it out.
Have fun!

And here we go again. The setup is mostly completed and as you can see it's mostly the same as last time
As usual I'm gonna cooperate with chaosBrick (legacy).
We're gonna use our self written framework along with gimp for graphics, blender for modelling and major brainfuck for that stuff we call sound effects.

Soooo. I think it's time to participate in this "I'm In"-Post spamming...
Eeehm. HELLO!!
Anyways: Have a great LD45, guys!
a syntax error?
We totally forgot to complain about the theme! So here we go:
Stupid theme! Who would vote for that? Bla bla blah...
Ever wanted to get wasted without a hangover?
Then here you go: run through an empty bar and drink whatever crosses your way without those nasty headaches! Find beer to make progress and drink shots and longdrinks to keep your grogginess up and finally find a way out of the bar.
But our PC Version got even better!
What changed? - Keyboard notes that have to be held now display their note length properly and also recognize their release time correctly, making things a lot easier. - Drums got new notes to play, making the game more balanced. - Did some visual improvements on the keyboard lighting. - Made some changes in how a well played riff affects your total audience satisfaction. - Added a borderless windowed mode.
What are our future plans on the game? - Create a selection of multiple tracks to play. - Implement the concept of optional notes. (Give bonus if played but no penalty if missed) - Some sort of music sheet to let you know what to play in the long run. - Maybe some sort of visual recommendation on how to place your fingers on the keyboard for each instrument.
But our PC Version still keeps improving!
Post Mortem: Keep the Flame Alive 1.2
What has changed?
- Added optional notes to drum tracks.
- These notes are represented by striped or white balls.
- They can be played for bonus but do not yield a penalty if missed entirely.
- When played, they yield their usual reward though, even if it was horrible.
![1_2Drums] - Added quality tracker to top right corner.
![1_2Break] - Added a display for your overall performance at the end of your solo.
![1_2Score]
For this Ludum Dare we tried to create a modernized approach to old school first person shooter gameplay like DOOM or Quake. Our take on the theme was to make it a bottomless tower you have to descend while eliminating the bad guys. You can choose between three weapons to eviscerate your foes:

|
|
| :---: | :---: | :---: |
| Shotgun | Rocket Launcher | Slingshot |
Killing endless waves of bad guys to some heavy metal music never gets old!
Get it here and kill some baddies!

Well, our engine is far from done. The main goal is... To finish it and checkout whether we can build a game with it. Aaaand maaaaybe, just maybe, we may actually build one!
