No-one likes snails

Phew. My girlfriend and I finished our first Ludum Dare, and it was a great deal of work. We thought we would have loads of time to polish and fix things, but time ran out in the sand somehow. We almost managed to reach our goal though,  just a few clarifications and niceties missing from the game, but we’re still happy.

Almost dead

Chroma Watcher

Feel free to check out the game by clicking the image or this link.

Hopefully we’ll be back for more, and hopefully with some more elaborate stuff. :) Looking forward to trying a lot of games tomorrow!

Snails can’t jump

Have you had a chance to try out Chroma Watcher yet? It’s probably one of the more difficult games this LD, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes very rewarding!

Try and see if you can beat 200 points. :)

Post-space-jam version now available

We’ve created a post-jam version of our game to fix some graphical inconsistencies and added some things people have been asking for. This is our first post-jam version, which we created mostly because we enjoy playing the game ourselves. Thanks to everyone who played the game and given us feedback for this game and all past and future games. :)

We’ve been talking about updating the AI, and maybe some other things as well. We’ll have to see. Feel free to post a comment with suggestions and other thoughts!

Last chance at an Interstellar Cruise

We’re still interested in more feedback, especially on the post-comp version, so if you haven’t already, and have some time over, we cordially ask you to check out Interstellar Cruise.

A city in disrepair

City_shot.png

We tried a lot of new things this time around; new engine, team roles, and adding a third dimension. That coupled together with miscommunication and a somewhat wavering motivation made the process a lot harder than it should have been.

The game idea is that you're a leading mayor for a city riddled with disasters (volcano eruptions and earthquakes had to be cut, unfortunately), and your only influence is where to spend the budget. The concept relies on performing educated guesses using limited information, in a turn based manner. It was supposed to feel a bit like Crusader Kings and the like, in a way that each turn represents a somewhat long time period with some important decisions. We didn't reach that mark by a long shot (the game balancing was cut, as well), but we would really much appreciate it if people tried the game out, with what we tried to achieve in mind, and discuss with us a bit about different mechanics and improvements. Grand strategy players are especially welcome!

Still some ways to go, but still some time left. Game balance isn't important, right?

Howdy partner!

This town is your home, your life. Aliens have come to Currency to wipe it out. The only thing standing in their way is you and your trusty shotgun.

Town of Currency is a fast-paced top-down twin-stick shooter-like, where you get to fight and endless horde of nasty aliens. How long are you able to survive, and is it possible to get some help from the government?

But the real question is... is it possible to beat Fluffy? fluffy.png
