Good luck!

First day over update!

Alright, time for sleep. Because of unforeseen events yesterday I ended up being distracted, but I did get some progress:

Not enough for a game, but it's a start

Now to add logic.

LD23

I’m in. Let’s do this.

Language and library of choice: Java and LWJGL.

IDE: Eclipse Helios

Paint.NET and bfxr for graphics and sound.

Hoping real life doesn’t get as much in the way this time!

Alright, Saturday is over, time for some sleep

OK, so day one is over, got my level loader completed and some basic graphics, tomorrow will be the time to add physics and more gameplay! MOAR LEVELS!

Aiming for the Jam

Alright, I’m going to miss the deadline for the compo, but here is a progress screenshot. Collisions still evade me, and I haven’t implemented a moving camerra or any more levels, so I’m going to aim for the jam.

G’night, and good luck to the rest of those aiming for the compo!

Ran out of time

Oh well, at least I got a incredibly glitchy collision system in place and a large amount of features are coded, but not implemented in a level.

I will be continuing with this game until I see that damn collision system fixed and all my ideas in a level (probably ending with a turret.)

All my code is up on my GitHub page, and I will post here when I have completed the game with a timelapse, along with a applet version of the game.

As the first full LD I have participated in, I can honestly say I had a lot of fun, and I will be back for LD24, probably with an ally or two for the Jam!

Congratulations to all that submitted a game on time for the Compo, and good luck to those yet to do so for the Jam!

LD26

I’m in the Jam

Using java, Eclipse, and LibGDX (breaking the rule, not entirely familiar with this library, probably going to be a sticking point, but it’s the Jam, I have more time to look at documentation)
Good luck to everyone in the Compo and the Jam!
