I’m in

So, I’m in for the first time :D

I will program the game in C++ and I’m going to base it on a little “engine” I’ve been working on :) It can be found here: http://www.host-a.net/u/Diventurer/Diventurer%27s%20Engine.zip

It is using SDL (+sdl_image and sdl_mixer), OpenGL, Windows and WinSock 2.2.

 

Psst, I think the theme is going to be kittens :o

So yeah, I’m entering for the second time now. Last time in December was so much fun so I’m obviously entering again ^^

The LD22 game was kind of a failure, even though I guess it was kind of fun in its own way, lol.

I hope this game will turn out much better ^^

I’m in, fellow Ludum Darers!

This will be my third time. I’ll try to actually finish the game this time. :D

Hello!

Last time it didn’t go so well, but this time things will hopefully change! :)

 

I’ll be writing the game in VC++, and I’ve written a small framework which I will use.

This is my base code (a library) which I call Ludum Dare FrameWork (LDFW): http://www.solidfiles.com/d/ece49afd6a/

 

For graphics, I’ll use PhotoShop. Then use that Python script that generates music to, well, make music. :)

This is how it looks like so far.

You can also fight with the Navy! Which isn’t shown in this screenshot (obviously). :)

 

The game is about crushing villages/towns and the Navy.

 

There… I did it… Kind of…

I’ve now uploaded the game “Pirate Scum”.

It’s not really a great game, but it is quite enjoyable. I mean, for me at least.

What you do is basically collect treasure around the world, and every time you get one treasure box or destroy a town with your cannon, a Navy ship appears randomly.

There’s a highscore “system”, and you try to beat it with your highly encouraging words from your beloved captain. :)
