We would like to present our game to you. This is a psychological drama with elements of surrealism. The room of the protagonist became a trap for him. Leaving it, he always returns to it. Only the tasks change. The fate of the protagonist and his internal conflicts are embodied in reality. He will have to find answers to questions that have long tormented him or forever lost his way in the phantasmagoric world.

So tired.

But it’s done! I think it might even be properly submitted over at ldjam.com, check it out: Microspace!

Overall it was a brilliant jam, lots went well, a few things took longer than I’d liked. I celebrated turning 34 yesterday and a games jam was a great way to do it! Anyway, enough incoherence for now. Sleep beckons.

It was a hard jam, our 7th consecutive and the first one we use 3D graphics. Original concept was pretty ambitious so many things were cut but the core gameplay is there. Creating literally a whole world is a 7 day job not a 3 one xD.

So I decided to leave myself very little time to procrastinate and did this all including learning the very very basics of unity in a night, either way let me know what you think, not a whole lot in terms of game play more of like a walk around game test than a real game. This is our first entry, We conceived it as some sort of vague tamagotchi meets farming sim -type deal, and it ended up as Bunny Carrot Farm Simulator 2k17.

It’s a “small world” because the map is just a 70×70 tile circle. (¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

You can dig holes.
You can plant carrots.
You can harvest the carrots.
And you can do it all over again.

There’s actually a lot more stuff under the hood ready to go (I promise), but this is all that’s actually up and running!
