I’m in!
Sooo… Is this working? Hello?
First time EVER
Probably going to do this with a friend using Unity + Ableton Intro + GIMP (but who knows, really)
Let’s all have some fun!

First time EVER
Probably going to do this with a friend using Unity + Ableton Intro + GIMP (but who knows, really)
Let’s all have some fun!
First Ludum Dare for me, after watching my friend @NickZangus participating (with excellent results, I must say) 4 times already! I’m thrilled and somewhat scared, since this is the first time I put myself to the test as a wannabe game developer!
I will use very few tools, namely Unity3D and Logic for some music and FX.
Happy LD and good luck to everyone!

It’s been a while, but I’m going to give the compo another go!
The stuff I’m going to use this time: Godot Engine, GIMP and MyPaint for graphics, Bfxr for sound effects, and LMMS for music (if I even do any music; not really my strong suit).
I’m not going to livestream anything (I’d rather not deal with it this time around), but I’m going to try to post updates here as much as I can. Maybe I’ll even post stuff to that Twitter account I’ve never used…
Anyways, good luck, everyone! I’m feeling pretty good about this one!
Never participated in Ludum Dare before, but I thought it would be a good challenge. I’m planning on abusing a visual novel engine (probably Belle) in a different way, and drawing the graphics myself with Gimp (or then I’ll get someone else to do it). I haven’t looked into making music yet, but Tonematrix/Audiotool seemed kinda easy to use. I’ll have to test it out, though I don’t think my game will be that focused on music, so if schedule gets tight, I might use something royalty free.
I’m not yet sure if I’ll participate alone. I do have a few friends who thought they might give it a shot, too.
I’d like to make updates or stream the process somehow.
I made this simple test last night to figure out the engine, nothing special. Beware: the koala is quite rude. There are still things I need to figure out (like some audio stop problems), but other than that I’m quite ready.
Last LD I wasted a lot of time and effort on graphics. I still learned a lot and also learned not to try and do it myself 😛
If any artist might want to join me for this LD, please let me know. So far I have mainly worked alone (public domain + CC3 stuff), so this will also by my first time to work together with someone.
Here is my previous LD game:
http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-31/?action=preview&uid=46424
Tools
Engine: Unity 5 (2D) + MonoDevelop + C#
Graphics: Might opt-out
Audio: Music Creator 6 Touch + Z3TA+2 (Steam) and an old fav (Wavosaur)
Fonts: Google fonts
Looking forward to my second LD and can’t wait to play all your entries. Enjoy!
From what I’ve gathered, I have to write a post about myself to prove I’m not a robot. The problem is, I am a robot. So this might be tricky.
This will be my first Lundum Dare. I’m working with a team of 3 other friends. If we decide on a 2D game, we’ll probably use libGDX. If it’s 3D, we’ll use jMonkey. We’ll also be using:
Art: Gimp
3D Models: Blender
Sound: I have no idea
I can’t wait till Friday!
Got my team ready. We’re gonna be making a good game the year.
I like turtles.
OS: Fedora 21 Gnome
Lenguaje: C++
Text Editor: Atom
Compiler: GNU G++
Library: SDL2 (Maybe some OpenGL)
Graphics: Gimp 2
Sounds: I don’t know
This is going to be my first LD. Wanted to participate last year but alas the stars were not aligned. Now they are.
Tools:
Unity 5 (C#)
Photoshop
No idea what I’m going to do for music. A bit unsure there. SFXR for effects.
Should be fun, hopefully something will get done.
I’m in, good luck to all!
Engine: Construct 2
Sound && Music, graphics, and everything else: The universe in my mind, and tools that allow me to recreate it.

I’m excited to participate in my first jam ever and to hopefully end up with a fun game at the end of it. Best of luck to everyone participating!
I have final projects and a mess of other things going on in my life right now, but, depending on the theme, I’m in!
I normally use Blender, however most recently I’ve received a MayaLT license and I’m itching to give it a try! I’m also interested in playing around with Unity 5’s new audio features.
Speaking of audio, what do you guys use for audio (besides bfxr lol)? I’ve messed/tweaked with audio here and there, but never tried to make something on my own.
I got a good feeling about this LD (:
Participing for the first time ! I never really create an entire game (except with Game Maker few littles games). I’m french and my English isn’t really good. So, I intend to use :
Let’s do this !
I’m in with a team of four, myself included, this is our first time.
I’ll be taking part in my very first Ludum Dare. Two of us will be Jamming and I can’t wait to get started!
Engine: Unity 5 / C#
Art: Blender and GIMP
SFX and Music: Bfxr and Audacity
Hey there!
From the creators of Ludum Dare 31’s Disco Kitty Nightmare comes a new mobile arcade game called Cubes!
It’s free and you can get it now on the play store. Just follow the link below and start playin!
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ArchiveStudios.Cubes&hl=en
Please don’t forget to leave us a review!
This will be my first LD Jam.
I’m looking forward to both the experience and the test of my skills
Tools:
Engine – Unity
Sound – Bfxr
Art – Photoshop, (possibly) Flash
Let’s make some games!
We are using Unity for this Ludum Dare. Images and animations will be designed with Photoshop.
This morning we did a small demo that allows a character to run through a field.
First we did some animations: http://imgur.com/a/ichgC
Then some programming: http://imgur.com/yOwEwVu
And a first attempt of main menu: http://imgur.com/AoxMGHy
And that’s all we could do in 3 hours!
Anyway, now that we look at it, there probably wasn’t need to colour the background elements. Black and white seems to work better.
Good luck everybody!

I’m looking forward to Ludum Dare 32 and have been since the date was announced! But then it’s always a great way to spend a weekend. Plus it’s always great as I have naughty food for the weekend to keep me going! Although I will try to be mildly healthy too I swear 😉
I shall be using:
Script/Engine: Game Maker
Art: PhotoShop and Paint
Sfx: Bfxr and my voice/sounds around me
Idea generation: Xmind and chatting with @cptalbertwesker
I will also try my best to not leave audio till last and comment and post more on the blog!
Hello from South Africa! This will be my second Ludum Dare. Looking forward to learning a lot
