First Time! My body is ready.

This will be my first time participating in a game jam. So I have prepared my brain for excessive caffeine intake and expansion of my skill set. I'll be using Unity, Aseprite, sfxr for most of my stuff. Let the games begin!

I think I have an ulcer

First Ludum Dare and I now know why veterans say to give ample time for deployment. I was doing periodic builds throughout the last two days. Everything seemed fine. Then I did a final WebGL build and it all fell apart. Half my colliders didn't work and my audio was all sorts of jacked up. Lesson learned: Don't use Unity's GameObject.Find if it can be at all avoided, and don't try to play audio in the Start() method.

This was a blast! And I'm really looking forward to Ludum Dare 45. How to go play some games!

The making of Transfusion (time lapse)

While creating Transfusion I recorded a time lapse! Check it out if you'd like to see what the process was like of me making my first Ludum Dare game, my first published game, my first attempt at pixel art, my first attempt at music/sfx, etc. I learned so much from this and I can't wait for October!

Third Ludum Dare Compo Complete!

This was a blast! And I'm please with how Fuel Hungry turned out. Especially since I didn't get started until about half way into the Compo time. Check it out!

First 24 hours done! Everything is fine!

This first time using Godot is going... good-ish. She's ugly as sin right now but the mechanics are coming together. Going to finish up the summoning/battle loop tonight and crank out some top tier programmer art and sound tomorrow!

Time to light up a cigar, grab a splash bourbon, and get back to work!

I really bit off more than I could chew this time! But I got something cohesive together and I really like the direction of it.

This is my first time building a 3D game. So I decided it would be a great idea to do a dynamically generated map, fully rigged models, and an RTS! What could possibly go wrong

At the end of the day, I had a fantastic time with this compo. Learned a massive amount. Shoutout to Imphenzia for his Blender content! Now I have the itch to build something bigger.
