If I remember correctly this is how you enter Ludum Dare! So let’s do it!

TOOLS:

  • ENGINE: Unity3D
  • LANGUAGE: JavaScript
  • IDE TYPE THINGY MAJIG (NOT SURE IF ACCURATE BUT WILL GO WITH IT): MonoDevelop
  • GRAPHICS: Blender (3D stuff (If a 3D game (Yes brackets in brackets))), Paint.NET (Textures/Sprites)
  • SOUNDS: SFXR

Also, this is my second LD so I am like totally a veteran now.

Hi Morgan I am 11 (I will be 12 in 2 months) and I am also doing Ludum Dare with me and my new friend. We are making our game in Unity3D (but with C#, but we could do JS instead) anyways I was wondering if you wanted to do the jam with us. Doing LD again. Do not check out my LD29 game. It was awful, but now I have a second chance! LD32!

I’ll be using Unity, Paint.NET, MonoDevelop, SFXR and Bosca Ceoil and maybe some kind of font editor (probably fontstruct).

That’s about it. It’ll be my first time using it for a full project, so I’ll still be working most of it out, but I’ll be doing all my sprite/map/code/potentially awful sound/music editing within the console.

Hopefully I can design something fun and short in the allotted time. I don’t tend to be very good with deadlines, so we’ll see how this turns out…
