TimeWars: Twitch Edition!

I have completed a post-contest version of TimeWars where the solders are spawned in from messages in the chats to allow for the viewers to create their own battles and face off against each others! https://www.twitch.tv/chupachugames Happy fighting!

Note: the level restarts every 20 minutes to ensure that any errors are reset so that my game isn't broken all night if some kind of act of God happens with my code.

P.S. My game is 10 ratings away from getting a final score, can anyone help out with that? https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/timewars

TimeWars: A Few More Ratings To Go!

https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/timewars Thank you for all of the positive suggesions and ratings. We are getting very close to getting a final score, and we only need a few more people to rate the game. Please be sure to give the game a try and leave a rating. Thank you!timeWars.PNG

TimeWars Post LD Update: Major Edits and Twitch Integration

I have just finished compiling a new Post-Jam version of the game for you all to try. Thanks everyone for the constructive feedback, for most of the fixes and content changes came from the feedback I received. I also added a new TwitchMode feature, which you may have seen me make a few posts about already, but for those of you who don't know, you can now host your own Twitch simulations and your viewers can use chat commands to influence the game. This should hopefully add some replay-ability and variety to the game and create a more multiplayer experience. You can easily configure your twitch settings and get streaming in under a minute, just be careful not to show your OAuth on stream. For that purpose, the OAuth is only accessible through a special menu, and that menu doesn't display the whole thing at one time. Also added, a new feature that lets you mute the music in the Twitch game and control the volume on it. But more excitingly, Twitch players can now spawn in their own units via a spawner from their own client! That means that if the streamer gets bored, he can just start spamming out units and creating gigantic battles! (if your PC can handle it.) There is no limit on how many units can be spawned from the spawner (in total), so feel free to mess around however you want to. I hope you guys enjoy this update! :D

P.S. My game is super close to entering for a final score and I would love it if we could get about 5 more ratings, thanks much! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/timewars twemtwitch.PNG tw/emtwitch2.PNG twemtwitch3.PNG tw/emtwitch4.PNG

[If these photos look low-res, that's because they are. I took them in the editor.]

Full feature list:

Easter eggs now display when you unlock them, Twitch integration features mentioned above, pushed the win/lose messages to the top and made them smaller, updated the controls.txt included with the game, some other stuff that I don't remember right now. Have fun!

AimBots: A Programming Stealth-Action Game

Hello everyone,

This is my first time creating an entire OS/Command Terminal in a game, I hope you enjoy it!

screenshots_000001.png

This game is about using a command terminal to navigate a drone past security cameras and deliver them without getting caught. You can use various commands in the terminal to move your drone, reset your connection, and even delay orders to create complex instructions. Be careful though: AimOS is notorious for its terrible network connections, so make every move count!

Note: this game is best experienced if you understand programming or command prompt-like programs such as the Source Developer Console or the Command Prompt.

Note-Note: You can skip the tutorial by typing skip. However, your employer doesn't like that very much.
