I've been an amateur game developer for a few years and this will be my first participation in Ludum Dare. I've been following them for a while now and I'm excited to finally be part of the community.
I'm going to be using Gamemaker: Studio Standard to create the game, FL Studio for music, and Chiptone for sound effects :D
I'm quite happy with how my game turned out, and I'm quite excited to play everybody's games! Cheers to many more successful game jams.

"The more you have, the worse it is" is kind of how a lot of video games work, as they tend to have scaling difficulties. You start small, and gain more enemies/things to manage as the game progresses, not a very good theme imho. However, I had a great weekend developing Bloc, hope yours was good as well! :grin:
Of the themes in the final round of voting, “Color changes everything” is my favorite because it easily caters to puzzle games, which I like in the game jam setting. I think it would also lead to a lot of diversity (no pun intended) in the types of games, which is a mark of a good theme in my opinion.
My game is "complete". I ran my time up to submission hour. So I had to cut some loose ends to make it playable. There are bugs, and I wouldn't call it finished, but I think it otherwise turned out well.
I have 20 ratings in all categories except for audio! I would really appreciate one more rating so I can get rated in all categories, thanks :grin:
