I’m Done….kind of

There are plenty more things that I would like to do to this game but it is playable. Not my best LD. Good experience though. Play it here.

About Self Promotion Posts

I think people should stop feeling guilty about self promotion posts. Promoting ourselves is another skill that we need to learn if we hope to make it as games developers. This seems like a good place to practise that skill.

Not even for self promotion, I like to write a little excerpt and look back on it during the next LD and make sure I’m fixing the things I learned from the previous one.

We Are Monster

I was ‘Let’s Played’!

He did a good job of getting big.

Missed a few controls though. You can launch blobs with left-click and do pretty things with 1,2,3.

I Love My Circle

I failed the October challenge by quite a long way but hopefully I Love My Circle will be out later this month. Thank you Ludum Dare for inspiring me to do this.

Greenwood P.I.

This was the first Ludum Dare that I attempted as a team. I was joined by LD newcomer Tom Jepson who did a great job of coming up with the story and writing all of the dialogs, as well as helping to design the game.

We decided to make a point & clicker as Tom is a writer and we wanted to be able to evenly split the workload between us. Neither of us are any good at art so we decided to go for a walk in the woods and take some photos to use as scenes (most exercise I have had during a ludum dare).

We ended up having to cut things a bit short but we are both happy with what we ended up with.
