Dear friends, as many of you know, the COVID-19 threat is forcing many of us to stay in our houses or, at least, with nowhere to go as most activities have been shut down as a precaution. Then we thought: why not having some fun with a game jam? That’s why, here at Cyberlab Studios, we decided to kickstart the Quarantine Game Jam! Grab this opportunity to stay safe and have fun, protecting yourself and your loved ones!

Wanted to give a good mixture with my theme suggestions this time round, so I decided to first give off a positive vibe with Everything Will Be OK, as I feel like that might be a message some people need to hear right now.

But, we can't get too sappy wholesome, so let's balance it back down with We're All Going To Die. You know, just a little scary truth in there ;^)

Finally, getting away from general "vibe" themes, I ended with a pretty fun game-based theme: Compilation. Not gonna lie, I have a ton of ideas for this one ( retro game mashups, movie + game mechanic mixes, team-up with other LDers and put all games into a fantasy cartridge, etc. ).

Lots of fun coming up in just under 40 days!

Rather than reduce the number of theme suggestions, how about give veterans an extra suggestion for every time they participated?

Since I started to do LD (LD36) I've been practicing Blender - usually shortly before LD itself, but this year I'm doing it every week. I'm doing a video series about it where I challenge myself to model objects in 10 minutes, here are the two most recent episodes. For the heck of it like everyone else, here are my suggestions for the theme.

Oh yes and I will do it sober and get my gf to fuck away for the 48 hours. Since I did all of my #LD28-33 drunk.

I always try to focus on multiple interpretations for my suggestions.
