Yes. :p

Congrats for the game! I made my way to wave 11. It slightly resembles ‘Orcs Must Die’.

I’ve been making my game for the last 5 days, 4 days remaining… I had to cut off 80% of the original gameplay features because of the deadline, unfortunately.

It is the first game project I will finish and publish. Warming up for LD 35. :)

I believe technically you can use the engine itself, but *all* artwork (sprites, UI, ect) would need to be created during the compo.

We’re in for Ludum Dare 35!

Hey there! This is Ben from Toasted Games, and I just woke up and don’t really know what’s going on! I’m pretty sure this is a Game Jam, though, right? Ok good. Erik Larson and I (Ben Collings) are going to be participating! Can we do that? I’m not sure how this works… I see a lot of people listing tools that they’re going to be using and writing that they’re gonna be participating in the title, so here:

We will be using (maybe)

  • Gamemaker 8.1
  • Photoshop CC
  • Paint.NET
  • Famitracker
  • Audacity

UPDATE: thanks to Ilseroth for answering my question about participating :)

For all intents and purposes, you just signed up. Technically there is no official signup process other then making an account, doing the jam and submitting the game in the time permitted.

You still use Game Maker 8.1? Dont get me wrong GM:S is a pile of garbage, but why not use something else. Oh and btw you should take a look at the ENIGMA Game Engine, its mostky compatible with GM8 games and is compiled, wich makes your game 1000 times faster

I’m in For Ludum Dare 35

Welcome! Best of luck, and have fun! :)

Sure, I’m In!

This will be my 4th Ludum Dare: I completed LD28, dropped out of LD30, and redeemed myself by completing LD32. I’ve been really proud of my work every time I’ve participated, and I absolutely love this community, so I’m excited to be taking part once again (barring any unforeseen work disaster).

My tools will be:

–Unity and C# (Engine/Code)

–Flash and Photoshop (Art)

–bfxr, FakeMusicGenerator, and Audacity (SFX)

Very much looking forward to theme voting and developing another game!

MiniLD #66 Progress Update

I just wanted to post some progress updates, too!

I’m using Visual Studio 2015 (C#, XNA), Photoshop CC.

Here are two Screenshots: 1 2

I’m streaming (nearly) everything at https://www.twitch.tv/captain_voidpointer .
Feel free to watch me fail 😉

I’m in for Ludum Dare 35

I’ve been working on a 2d game engine called GameSketch for a few years and I’ve decided to finish it!

GameSketch uses Chrome-PNaCl to load AngelScript over the web.  I’ve added a ton of built-in support for things like sprites, physics, components, tilemaps, and a lot more.

Check it out and tell me what you think.

Tools I’ll be using LD35:

GameSketch

CodeLite

Graphics Gale

Texture Packer

Sfxr

Akai MPK-mini + Ignite

Google search “Cat Font” and you will not be disappointed. The kittens shall not be ignored this time!

Me and my newly-expanded team are in again for this LD. This will be the teams third competition, and my fourth.

We’ve all got Monday off, so we’ll have plenty of time to make something great.

Tools:

Programming: Groovy + LibGDX

Art: Paint.net

Music & Sound: IDK. Ask Ben.

If all goes well, this should be a great weekend.

J’ai essayé. C’est vraiment zarbi :)

I assume that you are not a real developer. It’s not a criticism – as you said, this is a non-game project. If I should summarize your project, I would use the word “weird”. I have a good PC with a processor from last generation and a good graphics card. However, there is a big problem – it sucks. Too many shaders, too many prefabs and nothing is really optimized. Overall, it’s interesting – and I love this chicken :)

Bon courage pour la suite ++

We’re really, really excited to finally be doing this! #LD35

I’m in!

Well, that’s it, I want my profile to exist! Y_Y

I’m in.

Participating again this time around. For LD34, I created Celebration of Jand. I’m excited to see what I can come up with this time around.

I’ll be writing the game in C++ with a small framework of mine which can be found here. For music, I’ll likely use Garageband. For sound effects, I’ll have to improvise as I usually do. For graphics, I’ll probably use Pyxel Edit.

well… i don’t think i’ll finish my minild entry in time

i have too much work to do and only a day left.. ah well.

IM IN!

Soo hyped up for this LD i know its gonna be the best one ever 😀
