wow, the themes this time certainly were...something

Am I getting pickier as the years go by, or are the theme suggestions getting worse every LD? personally still believe that 3 themes per person makes for the best themes but alas, the convenience of smaller slaughters seems to outweigh that. If we ever get the alternative slaughter methods I remember Mike mentioning at some point, I'd love to see the 3 themes per person come back.

In any case, I've fallen hopelessly in love with an idea I had based on one single theme from the slaughter round, so here's hoping I can shoehorn it into whatever theme we all pick next week!

I'm in ! 2D artist looking for a team

Hello everyone ! As the title says, I want to take part to this new LD jam and I'm looking for a team. I already did a few game jams in the past, especially working with GDevelop. You can find some of the previous jam games I've worked on here : https://gd.games/kamiamiga

Slaughtering done!

Only about 1300 to do this time, that's not a lot comparing to other years. But!... Kept 25, that's a lot compared to other years too!

I loves that most of the suggestions were actual themes instead of game mechanics. Thanks y'all for suggesting.

First ever slaughter

I was only going to slaughter a hundred or so themes, but when I realised there were only a thousand ish, I figured I may as well do the whole slaughter for once, since who know how many more chances I'll get, and I don't think I've ever finished it in 16 or so times participating..!

Check this off my bucket list...IMG_5502.jpeg

Hmm

Why do some people have the exact same Recent Themes as I do, and some don't? Also uhh who should I annoy to change my name? IMGem20250330/em235705.jpg

I'm in again.

This time around, I won't participate in the theme "slaughter" much because I'm still in the middle of developing the full version of Lily Adventuresses! Episode 2. (The prologue can be found here.)

And yes, as you guys might expect, I'm gonna make the prologue of Lily Adventuresses! Episode 3 for LD57. Whatever the theme will be, the story will revolve around a pair of "explorer sisters". It's because each episode of Lily Adventuresses! will have their own set of female protagonists.

I am a merciful slaughterer!

So often when seeing the themes, I think of so many wonderful games that could come from them, and approving it just seems to make sense.

I somehow did it.

There are many that were repeats, but man was it funIMG_4671.png

I love doing music and sound for these. Let me know if you want to collaborate!

Feedback from laughter round, I mean slaughter round

I hear lots of anguish from bad themes... do we get any feedback on our theme submissions? This is the first time I've been able to participate in the theme suggestion, so perhaps we do get feedback on our submission and I just haven't seen it, but I'm thinking not?

What I'm asking for is to know what percentage of people slaughtered or kept your submission. Or even being able to see the ranked results of prior rounds? Just wondering if it would help people to brainstorm "new" ideas if they see what gets slaughtered in prior rounds?
