Just a pic.
But it is a pic! I actually have a screenshot!

Okay, seriously, wow! I had no idea I was going to be able to pull that off! And I was using a language I’m still unfamiliar with too! Granted, the game is still in a pretty rough state, but I figure if I don’t submit it now, I’ll be too tired after church tomorrow to remember to submit it, or even work on it. So here it is. In all it’s rough, ugly, finished glory!

Enjoy and let me know what you think!
I’m in!
And will be using:
Hopefully I’ll finish something. But if I can’t find something to fit the theme, there’s always the clicker game formula to follow. Am I right? *gets bricked*
EDIT: Also, if I’m really crapped on ideas, I’ll see if I can’t use Twine for something.
Well, at least this way, I can rate other games. And that’s the important thing right? Right? Anyway. I’ve not been feeling very good lately. I really have no motivation, and I don’t have any ideas for this theme. I’m gonna upload this to kongregate in a minute. The story is about a programmer trying to figure out what to do for a game jam. I might do something else, but I doubt it.
EDIT: And here it is: http://www.philome.la/xhunterko/jam-panic
I’m in. I guess.
Just to be clear on things, I will be using the following:
And that is all.
I actually forgot about this because I’ve never used it really. Any way, here’s a screen shot:
So that’s what I’ve got going so far. Here’s the sub herself:
Rather tiny. But that’s the idea. Tiny player in a large environment to allow for exploration. I thought about it a little bit, and there are NO enemies. That doesn’t mean there won’t be giant creatures, however. Anyways, til next update!
-Laters
Is where this game is going when it’s done. Okay, maybe not THAT extreme. But I usually mull over games after ludum dare. NOT this one. I am so frustrated with it.
Finally got the tile map finalized. It has been SO irritating. NOT using a 2200 x 2200 size map with 8 x 8 size tiles again.
SHEESH!
And with that, my game ‘The Huntress’ is loose upon your screens! I had so much trouble with this game trying to get in all the features that I wanted to you wouldn’t believe. Of course though you always throw out half of your initial design but man I wanted to keep at least SOME combat to make it exciting. Oh well. There’s a mysterious creature for you to hunt and track down now. Give it a go:

I am in!
I will be using the following:
Haxeflixel
Flashdevelop
GraphicsGale
Gimp
Some new tricks I recently learned.
And that will be all. I will be joining the compo like always. I may or may not use Fruity Loops if I can get my hands on it again, but we’ll see.
I tried to add a couple sounds and an effect but I think I am wiped out for the rest of the time being. So I am finished. Play and rate it here:

Good Luck everyone!
(pst, use http://itch.io/ for hosting! it’s great and easy!)
If I haven’t already and forgot (possible) I guess I’d best announce it.
I AM IN.
Will use:
I’ve been playing with Ogmo Editor a bit and have found a way to use it. So I’m looking to possibly use it in this next jam. What? Write the level editor yourself? DURING the jam? PFFFFFFFFFFFFFT ha ha ha are you CRAZY?!
So, it looks like I”ll be making a fishing game. Though I have a bit of a problem. Would adding levels break the one screen rule? OBVIOUSLY adding scrolling breaks it entirely. But if I add a level select, and the levels themselves are on one screen. Does that still count or no?
Your thoughts appreciated!
I usually don’t have much time because of circumstance and other things. Which happened today. Last night I had to do the dishes and fell asleep right after, losing lots of time. This afternoon I lost it to going to town for gift shopping. HOWEVER. I have managed to get some work done.
This is all I have for now. The smaller bobber follows the larger one staying just below it. Next is shoreline, actual fishing, keeping track of progression. Hopefully done soon. Oh how do you like the name?
Not just any fish you see. But a fish. Not a red fish, blue fish, green fish, or yellow fish, just a fish. Just a fish for me. That I can catch and toss into the air and watch it come down all wiggly.
Any fish will do. Though I’m not sure I’ll be satisfied with one or two. As a matter of fact, ad the drop of a hat, I’d like to snatch any fish I can catch!
I think it just needs some embellishment. Some sound effects. No music. Good God no. Don’t have time. Added lily pads and logs. The lily pads are slipping over the logs cause I figured they’d be slimy enough to do so. Gonna add more logs and lily pads though. Maybe some sound. But it’s pretty much done.
Though very specific mood so I’m not sure if I can use them myself
