I am definitely IN.

Hi there,

For my fifth Ludum Dare compo participation, I'm going to try a completely different game engine than what I've been using so far (flixel / HaxeFlixel); the Godot 3.0 engine. I've been testing it the last few days and it seems really cool, hopefully it will help me save some time coding.

I'm also going to try to actually compose some music with a MIDI keyboard and Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio.

In short, here is the software I will probably use: - Godot 3.0 - Corel PaintShop Pro 2018 - Bfxr - Audacity - Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio

Really looking forward to this!

I made it!

Yesterday night, I didn't think I would have anything to show today. It was my first time making a game with Godot, and a physics game at that. The first day was basically spent figuring out how things work (or why they wouldn't).

But today I managed to finish something like a game. It's a silly physics-based beat 'em up. Unfortunately I didn't have time to make graphics for the environment, but at least I got to make some music, which is something I usually don't have time for.

Give it a try and let me know what you think!

I'm in!

I'll be using: - HaxeFlixel - Krita and/or PaintShop Pro - Mixcraft 8 - Audacity - Bfxr

Good luck everyone and have fun!

This was so much fun.

This was probably my favorite Ludum Dare (my 6th), and biggest game compo achievement.

I made a game that feels pretty complete, and I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Please try it out and let me know what you think!
