Beauty Dungeon – Top down beauty warfare

Ever wondered what it would be like to fight slightly zombified girls in an apocalyptic world with weapons straight from the gift shop?

No, me neither

Im in the JAM

I’m in using:

  • Javascript (HTML5)
  • Pixi.js & Howler.js
  • Piskel, Audacity and SFXR

I will be working with a friend who will help me with the idea and the music.
We are not using any pre-LD assets.

Our developement will be livestreamed at Twitch.TV on the TiByte channel.

Good LD-Luck to everyone involved!
Greetings from Germany.

This looks like a working version.

The only major thing missing is the Story “Mode”.
We have to start recording for that soon, but this was the fastest LudumDare, I’ve ever worked on. (out of three)

If you want to have a look at the current version or want to have the source code feel free to visit: Game (TiByte.net)
 More information at: Info (TiByte.net)

We ended up using: Pixel.JS, Howler.JS, and a lot of JavaScript.
The “obligatory” tools used were: Audacity, GIMP, Sublime Text3 (with a lot of Plugins).
Sadly we couldn’t keep the livestream running, because of audio problems with the keyboard.
(OS: Ubuntu | Had Chronolapse running all day… looking forward to the video)

Good Luck to everyone!
Greetings from Germany

LD34

We are in!

This is my fourth Ludum Dare,
but it is the first one I will truly work with a team.

This time a couple of friends join me coding, making art and composing music.
It’s going to be fun!

We’ll make a web game (HTML, JS, CSS and so on) using Pixi.js
depending on the theme with a more intelligent server running flask.

Our progress will be kept on https://github.com/tibyte/ludum34 (with more information)
and the working version will be post to http://ld34.rateld.de/ along with the documentation and timelapses!

We wish everyone a good Ludum Dare 34!
