I’m in!
Participating for the first time.
Not sure if I can manage to finish a quick project in two days with my usual tools(C/C++ and my own libs), so I’ll be using Godot Engine this time.

I can’t believe I’ve finished this in some complete form.
This is my first LD, and I feel exhausted. But satisfied.
Now behold – a cat throwing simulator!

I’ve uploaded a timelapse of making my game Cat-O-Pult!
It took me really long this time to come up with the final idea so I don’t even know if I’ll finish in time but anyway day 1 is finished with half of the game art done.

Didn’t make it to compo this time but still got it to the Jam. Still can’t believe I found time to do sounds.
Now I have to sleep, my shoulders are killing me.

I’ve uploaded a timelapse of creating my game for this LD, Bad Dreams
For the third time now. I'll see what theme comes up and what comes up to my mind but more likely I'll be using Godot Engine again. But first thing is to get some good sleep. Don't forget to get rested too, guys and gals!
Whole day of programming only to implement battle system. Should've never choose to make rpg.

Finished all backgrounds at last. Still a way to go.

Didn't make it to compo again, the goal I set for myself was too high. So taking another day and submitting to jam.

With the site working at last I present you my submission - Petit Adventure, a little RPG game with turn-based battles.

When I thought what concept to pick up from all that came to my mind after theme was announced, the final decision was based on thought "Why do I see almost no RPGs in Ludum Dare's submissions?" Well, now I do know why, from my own experience. RPG genre requires insane amounts of programming and testing. I had to drop out about 3/4 of planned features from the game and I still almost didn't make it to the Jam submission. And to think that I wanted submit it to the Compo! What left and implemented is pretty small and simple game but it is still a RPG game(it tends to be more like JRPG actually) and I hope it could be enjoyed for 10-15 minutes that requires to beat it for this moment.
Most regrettable thing is that I didn't find time to add more enemies variety, now it features only spiders and mushrooms. And one boss.

Hi all. I'm having a hour of free time on my workplace so I thought about playing some LD games. But I have one big problem - my internet traffic is heavy limited here. So if your game have a small distributive size(5-10 Mb per game max), please post it and I'll be happy to play it and leave feedback.
Sorry for this little discrimination, I'll make sure to play all other big beautifull games when I get home. Too bad I can't physically play all of the LD games :(
ED: I want to clarify, that by limited traffic I MEAN limited traffic, and not slow internet. My internet here is ultra fast, I just have a quota of 100Mb of it per day.
I've uploaded a walkthrough video of my game Petit Adventure

I've tried to find another RPG games with turn-based combat submitted for LD38 besides mine, and here is a little list of what I've found:
I know nobody using game list on the site but still:

This time i'm going to make something simple, so Tesla Defence, where you have to recharge your defence tesla towers, is going to do.

Well, that's enough for today. Finished almost all graphics and core gameplay is here. Now time to sleep. Or try to sleep, it's extraordinary hot here today.

Now it does looks like a proper battlefield.
