Spartan style! It's an RTS-like game so you can control and kill off a lot of weaklings which is necessary to have enough generations to ‘evolve’. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/43/cheela

I already knew I would not have time this weekend but while I was doing other stuff I couldn't stop thinking about the fact I'm missing the jam. So I checked the theme and set myself the challenge to think of a nice idea to the theme that is very small in scope. In the end I did come up with a nice idea so I completed my challenge :D Other unforeseen stuff will give me even less time though so I won't submit a game, but I think I will finish it later. Best of luck to all the developers, don't forget to sleep ;)

I think the game is actually uite fun once you understand it a bit and it may even be a brainstorming tool :D

My girlfriend tried my game and she liked it! :D Getting real life feedback is super satisfying, although my cat was less impressed. Who do you agree with ?
