In our game, you play as Mimi, a parking meter that has become sentient, and must collect money to stay alive. She does this by sneaking in front of other parking meters to collect the money from would-be parkers!

In Meter Maid DX, you play as Mimi, a parking meter brought to life by a lucky penny.

While still a parking meter, she had always dreamed of the outside world, but now that she is alive, she has discovered that things aren't always great. In fact, if she doesn't keep collecting money, she'll die!

So, she waits around parking meters, and skims the money from people paying to park. But be careful, because it's technically stealing, and the police look down on that!

So we're nearing the end of the first day, and our team has a pretty solid base for a game. We have a concept, a protagonist, and a plotline. We know how the gameplay loop will go, and have the basic game logic in place. We're pretty happy with where we are, and excited to show you more when it's ready! Until then, here's some character art!

So it's the first full day, and we are getting into the swing of it. We're used to all gathering in the same room during a jam, but obviously, circumstances this year have made that option obsolete. We're making use of Mumble, Mattermost and Dropbox to ensure we have multiple lines of communication, and an easy way to share files as we need to. But of course it hasn't been without hiccups!How is everyone dealing with remote development?

Here's a preview of what our game looks like. Our game will see you performing CPR on a bunch of aliens, but every species has a different circulatory system, so the rhythms are different for each type of alien! We're working as hard as we can to bring as many diverse species as we can to keep the game fresh and fun each time you play!

AMT: Alien Medical Technician is finished! It's a light rhythm game where you have to perform CPR on a bunch of aliens and keep them alive! We hope you have as much fun playing it as we did making it!
