Wow, finally! It's been a long weekend but I can say I'm very pleased with our team's result.
It's a combination of tower defense and racing where a bunch of truck drivers stationed to protect a base from incursions race each other in their spare time in the dusty dunes surrounding it.
And when duty calls...
Ramming, shooting and flipping over makes for a real clustertruck.
At some point it gets tiring to create new folders to dump thousands of game files into. There should be a PSA for this before the jam every time.
After messing around with git and Godot exporting for 2 hours we've finally got some standalone builds working.
I really like how the art style turned out, though we really should've spent more time balancing and uh.. making a game over screen. It's fine, when the forest is dead you know you've messed up.
