My first game jam!
This is exciting :)
This is exciting :)
I'm a last minute kinda gal.
But for real, this was mine (and my team's) first game jam. I'm so happy with how our game turned out and we had so much fun doing it. Huge shoutout to @Brady0423 @Gnarlie-Sheen & @junojop !
I'm super happy with the product of our game jam, and I couldn't be more proud of my team :)
In Capybaba you play as a capybara named Capy, whose goal is to keep Super Baby alive. You'll encounter evil shadow babies, which you can take out by hurling Super Baby at.

We had influence from games such as Yoshi's Island, Owlboy, Angry Birds, and Who's Your Daddy.
-I think our game is mostly inspired by Yoshi's Island, except you throw the baby instead of eggs!
-It's similar to Owlboy in that you're carrying around an entity that you use to take out enemies (as well as solve puzzles!)
-I had been playing a lot of Angry Birds 2, and I think that I semi-consciously based the baby-throwing off of the mechanics in that game.
-And it's like Who's Your Daddy because you're trying to keep a baby alive, and it doesn't always do what you want it to!

We recently patched out all the bugs that we could find, and I would love it if you gave our improved game a try! You can check it out here.
(hopefully i'm not put on a list for creating scripts with classes such as BabyThrower)
Hi everyone! This was my third ever game jam and I'm super proud of my team and the game we produced! I'd really appreciate it if a few more people would play (and rate!) our game :D
p.s. if anyone else still needs ratings just comment here and I'll check your game out!

Thanks!!

I'm super happy with how our game turned out! We made a really cute and relaxing 2D fishing sim where the goal is to reach the deepest and most valuable fish in order to collect them all. I might be a bit biased I think that it's pretty polished for a game jam

I'd love for someone to share their completed fishpedia!!
