I've been going through theme slaughtering, gotten through a little over 2500. I swear I have gotten "Time Travel" at least 50 times.
Im hyped! Im getting stuffs prepped and ready. I hope the theme ends up being good :/
Gonna probably end up using: Unity - Unless the theme really calls for a 2D Game, then im gonna use the free GMS2 offer from YoYo :) Blender Paint.net Bosca Ceoil for musics Bfxr for sound effects
Turn Based Racing Shooter RPG with trucks and CRT Monitors CALLED CRT!!! (Combat Racing Trucks).
Just lost about 4 hours working on a 3D version of the game. This was originally the plan, but i now realize it will be much easier and so much less time consuming switching the game to 2d. I wont be able to finish this 3d version in time so i have to scrap it in favor of the 2d. RIP
This is going to be the first Ludum Dare that I'm actually going to submit a game for! I tried to participate two years ago and gave up on the first day. After picking up game development again this year and participating in the GMTK Game Jam 2020, I finally have the confidence to go in, make something, and submit it, even if it doesn't turn out to be what I originally planned for. Good luck and have fun everyone!
My friend is doing all the music and audio for the game. Does sampling an audio clip he previously recorded and heavily modifying and distorting it count as using previously made assets? I love his music and would hate to have to opt out of the audio category if we move forward with what we have right now.

Really happy with my progress so far! All the base systems are in place, now its time to design some puzzles and get audio implemented.

Echo Anomaly is an atmospheric puzzle platformer created for the Ludum Dare 47 Jam! As mentioned above this is my first ever entry and I would love for some people to check it out and give some feedback. I can't wait to start playing all the amazing games made by the rest of you tomorrow!

Venture into the depths of the Compound and discover the effects of the mysterious anomaly for yourself...
Check it out at the link below! I'll be sure to check out your game and give it a rating as well! :)

Our game Project PANDORA is now available to play on WEBGL!
A minor patch has been released to implement this fix and also fix the end sequence not finishing. Have fun! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/48/project-pandora
