Who are we? Why are we here? It's time to prepare for #LD41 - No real idea of game development yet, struggling with Unity basics but we will rock this contest. At least for the last place :D

Am I the only one thinking that most of those themes are not really game themes but more Elements or even general game content? Some are like "Create a game" others are like "Create a game without content"... When I think about themes I used to think about themes like "An unconventional weapon" or "A classic upside down" or something like this... It should be something giving room for interpretation but alos showing a direction. Not things like implement a magic wand within any game... I hope you can understand what I am writing about... I think the quality of many many theme suggestions was very crappy.
Oh: Not specifically talking about the Theme Voting. I am talking about ALL themes... My personal Anti-Favorites were "Sperm", "Ludum Dare" and something like "Game" iirc...
So now it is here. LD41 is about to start in a few hours (well okay… it’s still about 40 hours…).
Prepare to see two GameDev n00bs trying to create a game with Unity, Blender and a few other tools.

Yes we did it! A few hours ago we published our CornWars LD - We were not able to implement the whole idea but at least about 20% of the content is in it.

It is a mix of farming sim and shooter game... Sounds strange? We prefer uncommon :p You need to plant seeds and sell the fruit to be able to buy better seeds, weapons and pay your taxes. Oh! Wait!
