Into The Depths!

OURZdW.png

I managed to create the first fully functional build (after smashing quite a few bugs) about an hour before the compo ended. This was my first compo-submission. I created everything from scratch. It's a pretty good feeling. :) A little bummed that I did not have time to create a bgm-track, but oh well.

First Godot Jam!?

I had completely forgotten about Ludum Dare 59, time's just been flying by!

I've previously been using Unity for all my projects, however, I think it might be time to give Godot an honest chance.

It's a weird feeling. I've become so proficient in Unity that I can easily jump straight into creating. Working with a new engine will produce a new set of challanges which will limit my productivity. However, I believe that part of this journey is about the experiences gained, and not solely the final product.

Wishing you all happy holidays and a fun jam!
