Hopefully everyone had a great jam. I know I did.

This was my first jam and seeing how fun this is, I'm going join next time too!

My entry, Tower of Time, is a vertical side-scrolling jumping game where you try to stop the madness of corrupted Time Lord.

I think I'll keep developing this one, since some ideas and content that I came up with during planning seem interesting enough. I want to see the full potential of it all.

Please give it a try and leave feedback, it would be appreciated. The response has been positive so far.

Getting excited for the weekend. This time I'll be using Godot instead of Unity. Only experience I have with it is doing a small game last weekend so we'll see how that goes... :laughing:

So I got feedback on my game regarding the tileset and the clarity of the game. I have updated the tileset locally and might do some cleanup for the background as well.

What do you guys think, have I made an improvement or does it still feel messy and confusing? Jam graphics on the left, upcoming ones on the right.

This jam I'd like to give Godot 4 a shot and see how it feels. I'm not up to speed with it though. Is the web build OK or should I stick with 3.5? Any major issues?

As is stated in the jam page: "The Compo – 48 hour deadline, solo, from scratch (as much as is reasonable) --"

Where are you going to draw the line of "reasonable" for the upcoming jam? How are you preparing your project upfront?

I've decided to prepare audio scripts and related UI parts this time. While I feel it contradicts the spirit of the category, I have noticed I always end up copying these parts from the previous jam games anyway. So, to save some time and inevitable headache, I'm going to do myself a favor and allow myself to focus on the fun stuff.

I have a friend who would like to team up with me but he doesn't have an existing account. I also don't see any invitation buttons on my profile. Is the system in place yet, anyone know?

Of course, we can jam together regardless. But it would be nice for him to be able to participate in rating and feedback.

Still not sure how to define the game... Rhythm game, kind of? Any ideas?
