Got up, read theme, had a soak in the tub and just let my mind work. Arsed around a bit. And then almost two hours later inspiration stuck like the might hammer of MJÖLLNIR! Time to write my idea down before it scorches the inside of my head with it’s fiery HEAT.
Inspiration strikes again! And again! Delivering a savage beating to my frontal lobes. In contrast to my earlier predicament I now have too many ideas! My natural instinct is to just pick the easiest idea to implement. Especially given that this is my first “Dare”.
I can also feel the tell-tale tingle that indicates my entire face will soon be consumed by an angry, pulsating cold-sore. So that’s good timing.
Slow progress here. Strange men showed up two hours ago to start drilling holes in my house. Cavity wall insulation apparently. It is currently VERY noisy. Making progress toward something playable though. Just not as fast as I’d like.

We’re now more than twelve hours in by my count. I have only the most rudimentary gameplay features in. This is going to get interesting.
Edit: – On the upside I think I’m accidentally half way to having a decent 2d game making framework. Which is entirely not the point but hey! Whatever!
I’ve got snacks. I’ve got HGE. I’ve got visual studio and Visual Assist.
I’ve got everything I need. And this time I’ll totally finish my entry…. Maybe.
