My First Game
Hello everyone
I recently joined the world of game making. I created my fist mini-game in Processing. It’s very simple: http://www.ballrunner.hostzi.com/

Hello everyone,
I made a聽mini-game聽called “Switch”. It was meant to be for the MiniLD 36 with the theme Contrasts, but I was busy then and could not get to work on the game. I still wanted to make the game though and I finished it today in Processing (I love Processing; almost no “housekeeping” code).
How to play: Move the mouse so that the green ball only travels on the white areas. Click to swap black for white and vice versa. Press ‘r’ to reset the game. Try to finish the track!

Hello
I started making my first 3D game in Unity about 3 months ago and it is now (partially) complete. I created the models in Maya, the textures in Photoshop, and I recorded the in-game music on my.It was fun to make. It’s called RedGreenBlue and it’s about shooting ghosts with the right coloured pills (not bullets; ghosts react badly towards pills).
I am 15 years old and I stared learning programming a few years ago (I really enjoy it). The game will be available soon as a free download.

Then you might want to think about adding some sort of variation so the player has something to look forward to. Maybe the blocks start traveling left and right a little.
Cool ideas for improvement is that the blocks could change texture to the beat. How about power-ups? There could be a simple power-up that acts as a reverse magnet (pushes the blocks away) or one that slows the game down a little. Or maybe even on of those invincible powerups.
Also, you could have lives. They might be represented as rings around your player. When a block hits you, the block explodes and one of your rings evaporates. Then, maybe every 1,000 points, there’ll be a life power-up
Hope you take the inspiration ;D

I think it’s a great idea for a first game.
I got around 3700 points. Keep on working!
Good luck
