Hi Ludum Dare, long time no see! This is my first compo for a while.

I'm still not sure how this is going to work yet, but the premise is that at the start of the level, the player makes a bet on how many resources and lives are needed to complete it. They can spent their hearts on resources like jetpack fuel, and also to buy gems. At the end of the game, the number of collected gems are all that matters.

Alright, one more day on this to set up some shops. Spend your heart fragments on blocks, jetpack fuel, and gems (for points).
