Ludum Dare 52

I know what you're thinking

You're thinking "what about the pumpkins??"

And you're right. Pumpkins have been severely underrepresented during this harvest. It's really a shame. And who's gonna do something about it? You? Yeah probably.

Because I've got a game for you.

About a pumpkin.

He's a pumpkin who's just trying to get by, in a dog eat dog, chicken eat pumpkin kind of world. All he wants is to take over the world, and who's getting in his way? Yeah, you guessed it... (It's the chickens.)

Anyway give it a go, because I had fun making it and it's... not terrible at least.

Ludum Dare 53

A game surprisingly inspired by LD52

So, in LD52 I made the game No Farm, No Fowl, but that isn't what this is about. The most weirdly inspiring game to me from that jam was Wheat Master, an isometric idle game about farming wheat. It was so satisfying to play and the isometric tiles felt so good to me that I decided I had to make my own satisfying isometric tile map.

Clearly, I took a much different direction from wheat farming, and clearly it's moved past just a tile map, but it really was my inspiration! Aaand here's why I'm posting: I recently launched a demo of an isometric tactics roguelike which ultimately began with my little tile map experiment.

You can try it out on Itch: https://squarewavejams.itch.io/trash-of-the-titans

Or you can try it on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2450400/Trashofthe_Titans/

If you get a chance, please let me know what you think of it! I'm really excited about it, and feedback from fellow developers is worth its weight in gold. Wait, feedback doesn't weigh anything. Uh... feedback is just... really valuable?

And if you happen to be reading this, big thanks to nyxkn for making such a satisfying little farming game. My whole family played it and loved it.
