Did my part in slaughtering the themes, getting pumped up for my first ever game jam! I'll be using Unity and Maya as my primary tools, anyone have some advice for quick music/sfx? I've heard Bosca Ceoil is pretty good.

Are the standard Unity Asset Packages ok to use for the Compo? I'm thinking about using the Vehicles or Character Controller pack but I don't know if that would be ok or not...

Not sure what happened to my wheels, XD. I'm super impressed by what I've seen from other projects already, I need to pick up the pace!

For my first game compo, I think I did pretty decent! Game is laggy as hell on the HTML build but what are ya gonna do? Can't win 'em all. I think it came out pretty great considering it's my first compo, although the web version kinda sucks. Seriously, if you want to check it out I recommend downloading the game from my itch.io page. The game is about driving home as fast as you can... but without breaking any of the rules of the road. (Racing + Stealth)

While I was play-testing my game I came across this glitch! All you have to do is get the car clipped inside an object a bit (the road barrier works quite well) and then pause and un-pause the game.

This is one of those "too fun to fix" kinds of glitches so I don't plan on patching it in the future!

Ok, I'm joining the Jam this time with a couple of friends but I can't seem to figure out how we all join. I have an account (clearly) and have created a game to join as a team leader, but the only info I've gotten was from this pop-up box. How do my team members add me as a friend on here though? It seems like this should be more intuitive...

This was my second time participating in LD, and my first time working on a team in the Jam. Lots of fun, and lots of stress. But I'm so happy to get to share Dwarf Climbers with you! A game about climbing up a mountain and mining ore... and occasionally making tough choices when a dwarf gets knocked down! While the animations were unfortunately not completed, the game looks and plays great so check it out!

After far too long, we've gotten around to rating a proper 20 games so now we need your help to get Dwarf Climbers to 20 votes! It's a simple game about climbing up a mountain as 2 Dwarves and mining as much ore as possible before reaching the top. You can play by yourself or with a friend on Windows or Mac! Note that there is now a Version 1.2 with some minor bug fixes, which is a POST LD Build. I'll leave it up to you whether to play the original build or the new one with minor updates (there's a change-list on the download page).

I'm really proud of how this one turned out, happy to have gotten the Web Build in the last couple minutes after Unity took a full half hour to generate it. Phew!
