I am super excited that this is going to be my first ever LD, and game jam in general. I am looking forward to seeing what I create and learn during this weekend.

It took me the longest time to come up with an idea. I got most of the core mechanics down. Still have a few things to add before starting to figure out the art for it. Excited that I might finish my first LD even tho I know my game is really really simple and plain but atlest I made something and thats my whole goal of doing LD in the first place.

So here it is, note just placeholder sprites. So in this game you are in your computer and you have to save your files(white objects) and kill the viruses(red enemies). There are 12 files in total in the place and you win once you defeat all the enemies and collect all the files. Its my first ever game I have ever created myself. I am so excited with making progress from coming up with nothing, to an idea and now a prototype. The mechanics and everything are simple but its pretty fun. I am looking forward to spending the next two days to figuring out the art adding sounds then creating a start and ending screen.

I have always said I want to do LD everytime it comes around and never do. This time wont be that case. I plan on working with Pyxel Edit and most likely will be Udemy.
