Infernal Engine
It looks a bit derpy, but I'm trying to keep my game comedic so that shouldn't be a problem! Engine.gif

Keeping the game comedic, so it looks a bit derpy :p

Gobbo got lost and got himself stuck there. Might as well make it worth his while.
Dig some treasures up and share your final hoard :D

This community has got me so thrilled and I'd love to try and find some hidden gems. I'll go first:
Cheese is the Reason
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/57/cheese-is-the-reason
A really funny game about a rat trying to find out how to unclog his toilet.
Great dialogue and terrific views.
The OPERATOR
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/57/the-operator
A simple, but challenging game about getting a crew down into a mysterious cavern and only being able to tell them coordinates for where to go. And it has STICKERS
Still have a bunch more I'd like to review, so I'll probably make a new post after that too :3
Hey guys, it's me again. Found some nice little gems and I've come to share! If you found any cool entries too, share them here :)
A short experience oddly remniscent of Fez. Very surreal and def worth a try!

If you've ever played a Berserk flash game you know the drill. Jump in, catch some ghosts upgrade, catch some more ghosts and save your beloved!

Dig your way through the earth and place turrets to protect your camp. Beware of digging too chaotically, you might give the monsters a new path up...

Go give these people some love
I drew up a roadmap in excalidraw for my game. Imma draw this out in aseprite later but I felt like sharing anyway :3

The rules state we should be fair about our voting, but I am personally rather inclined to disregard any AI generated art or text as something that deserves praise. I'd like to know you guys' thoughts on something like giving 1 star (in this case on graphics) to something that obviously tries to ride on AI generated assets like Meshy or comparable stuff. I get that for some people it helps to have certain fillers like programmer art to actually get a game done, but to me it feels disingenuous to then do AI instead of that.
Hi everyone, Providence with a little post again. I see a lot of people feel discouraged by a bunch of the themes. I just wanna put out there that I belive you should try regardless. Not always is there a jam like the Ludum Dare where there's so many people who will actually play your game and leave helpful feedback and a theme should not stop you. Here's some tips from me to help make it easier for you:
Even if after all that you can't think of any good game, know that theme is just one of many scoring points. Just make a tiny version of that game you've been wanting to make for years. If you properly put on your game page that you couldn't adhere to the theme but still wanted to participate, I bet 90% of people here will appreciate your honesty and desire to keep going.
Make something great, y'all. You have it in you :)
