Rubber Ducky Sounds

P7JSnhv6EbM.jpg Actually all sounds in game were made at home using Zoom H4n mic with some additional processing in Ableton. Stay tuned and I will provide you with some more details about development!

Soundtrack - Ableton Project

For this game I just wanted to use some simple instruments. The game itself is very simple and funny so for the main melody I picked funky electronic bells from Ableton's built-in Operator. For that reverby sounds in the background I used Dusky Swells preset from the same Operator with additional compression and delay. Somewhere in the middle there is a solo and the chords appear. Their sound is just a samples of classic Rhodes with some u-he Satin processing for that warbly vintage sounding. In the last track there are keys playing in the background made with TAL U-No-LX, which is probably Roland's Juno-106 emulation. The keys are the Mellow Piano sound from the juno factory patches back in the 1964. Piano is the Grand Piano from the Ableton's Sampler with Izotope Vinyl over it for that Lo-Fi vintage sound again. For the drums I sampled Afrique - House of rising funk and layered them with drum samples from old-school roland drum-machine cr78. Some vinyl dirt in the background and that's it!
