LD29

I’m in?

Trying to sleep off the fever before the compo starts. If I’m feeling better I’ll join the fun tomorrow. Anyhow, here’s the basecode I’ll be using:

https://github.com/petrihakkinen/ld29

I’ll be using LuaJIT, C++ and SDL for programming, aseprite & Paint.NET for the graphics and Bfxr & cgMusic for the sounds.

What else? Oh, it’s my first LD but I have made some games before… see ya!

The Monastery Finished!

What a crunch! I’ve practically been coding non-stop since last morning which was wait… what! 19 hours ago? At one point I was about to give up but I’m glad I made it. Totally exhausted but happy.

Oh, please check out my game. Especially if you are into oldskool tactical turn-based party-based roleplaying games you’ll love this!

Now I’m going to hit the bed!

Linux porting?

Hello!

Am I allowed to use external help in porting my finished LD48 game to Linux? My game is running on Windows and would definitely like to see it on Linux as well. The game is pretty much Lua only and video and audio uses SDL so porting work should be straightforward for one who knows the platform (not me unfortunately).

The Monastery has now a Web version!

Hello!

I’ve just finished the Web version of The Monastery! Enjoy!

Play The Monastery

The Monastery is my entry to LD #29. It is a party-based tactical RPG with approximately 1 hour playtime. The Monastery features 4 character classes, 9 unique monster types, unfolding story, spellcasting and three levels packed full of encounters, secrets and mystery.
