Hey everyone, I’m in for my first ever Ludum Dare from the Troy, MI area. I’ve drafted a few of my friends who will be working on their own games as well.

I’m a C# developer professionally but am hoping to switch to the indie game dev scene over the coming years. This challenge marks the start of that journey.

For the LD 31 jam I’ll be using the following:

After a good solid push today I’m pretty happy about where things are at. Being my first Ludum Dare I had no idea what to expect. I spent some time creating graphics and came up with a decent tileset for the game, but I am not a designer by any means. Looking back, I probably should have made the tiles bigger, but it’s too late for a change like that at this point.

In any case – I’m having a blast! Here are some pics.. first is a sketch from an hour in, the other is where I’m at right now.
