Algorithm for theme slaughter

I was wondering…

The mechanics of the theme slaughter works by clicking links..

How does the algorithm prevent scripts that would repeatedly vote UP for specific themes in loop?

Does anyone know if there are any abuse prevention mechanisms in the algorithm?

Just curious…

I was curious about that too (from a purely “white hat” point of view). I naively assume that they check IP address and count only 1 vote per theme per IP.

There is a system in place to deal with abuse, but understand that we cannot describe how it works because that would only help malicious users to circumvent it. :)

Of course. I just wanted to put my mind at ease that the process is as fair as possible. Thanks for the info.

Simply gonna try.

This is the first time I’m gonna try.

Unfortunatelly, I have only some 25 hours available, and third of that I’m gonna be sleeping.

But hey, I’m still gonna try. Something simple for starters. Maybe a logical game or something.

Unity3D, C#, Blender, Inkscape and what not.
