So this is my very first Ludum Dare, but most definitely not my first jam. I can’t wait to see what awesome and amazing creations come out of this weekend. Best of luck to you all and I hope I end up creating something half-way decent. 😉

Here’s a new video with where I was at a few hours ago. I’ll keep posting about it throughout the night but it’s starting to actually feel fun!
(The bar at the bottom of the screen isn’t supposed to flash, fyi).
The goal is to destroy the weak-points of the planet within the time limit. If an enemy damages you, you’ll enter a stunned state that prevents movement and retracts the drill. Any and all feedback is welcome!
In my original build the controls were fairly unintuitive and hard to get used to. I have since updated the build to use mouse controls for gun aiming and firing (firing may still be triggered using the keyboard as well).
The new control scheme is:
A/Left – move counter-clockwise
D/Right – move clockwise
Mouse Move – gun aiming
Left Click – fire gun
Right Click – drop charge
C – drill
