DAY 1

Good progress! Gotta finish it up now! :-)

Good progress! Gotta finish it up now! :-)

Got scoring in the game! This game just gets more and more fun to develop!
Lasers!
Game is basically done, now just a few loose ends!!!

^ Lategame Footage! ^

Hmmm...
Wow! So... Cardhoard did way better than I anticipated.

I'm honestly stunned, and very happy enjoyed you all enjoyed the game so much. For those that played and commented during the rating period, thank you so much for all the feedback.
While I have you here, I actually have a little announcement to make: I've already begun on work on a new-and-improved edition of the game, which will release as a standalone game for computers, and hopefully phones! It will have the same pick-up-and-play gameplay as the original, but with some tune-ups and new features, like better (and rebindable!) control, tighter movement, a more graceful difficulty curve, and a little warehouse to explore when you aren't busy stomping boxes. If you are interested in following development, feel free to follow me on Twitter!

Woah! The first LudumDare of 2018! I'm super excited to see what I can come up with. My schedule this week lines up just right to give me the time I need to participate so I'll be at full game development power!
I’ll be using the same software I always do:
🍏 Construct2: HTML5 game creation software!
🍏 Aseprite: Pixel art program!
🍏 GIMP: Open source photo editor!
🍏 LSDJ and bgb: Authentic Gameboy synthesizer and emulator!
🍏 Audacity: Open source sound editor!
🍏 itch.io: Storefront/games host!
PS: For those who played my last entry and are waiting for the remake I've been teasing, I'll be finishing up and releasing it (hopefully!) sometime this summer. I've been very busy with my studies lately so development has taken longer than I anticipated.
Made this in anticipation of LudumDare 41! Get hype!

Will have fun fleshing this out! :)
Should probably start doing gameplay soon, haha

Finally got enemy movement done for my RPG Shmup. Works with different group sizes and everything! Please note that enemy attacks are still being implemented.

Going to be cutting it close, but I think I can finish it in time.

Finally was able to create a system that identifies monsters able to attack. For sharing purposes, available enemies flash, here. Most of the enemy attack code is already there in some form, now to link it all together, wrap it up, polish polish polish, and then... presto!
Defeat aliens to level up your ship.
Aliens can fight now!
Turn-Based Invaders From Space is done and submitted! Took me awhile to get everything wrapped up and submitted- had a few crashes!
