Ludum Dare 48

First game jam ever :O

Hellooooooooooooo people of Ludum Dare As my first game jam ever I'm extremely anxious and generally don't know what to do. I trained a lot in these two last weekends and hope to conjugate school and chores with ludum dare. I'm really happy I decided to participate with my team of friends (@th3re4l @geppythecat @nik-5 @l4p0k7ck @icronitar we're all like 16 or 17 y/o btw) and never expected before to take part of something this big. Hope this will be the beginning of something great.

Tools we're going to use: - Unity (hello I live here, @icronitar stand back) - Blender (@l4p0k7ck trained hard for this) - Aseprite (@Nik-5 @th3re4l it's your turn to shine) - FL Studio and BoscaCeoil (@geppythecat help us plz) - GitHub for version control - VS Code

HAPPY JAMMING TO EVERYONE

What I have learnt from my first day ever at Ludum Dare

  • I can't draw
  • I can't draw
  • I can't draw
  • I can't draw

But most importantly - since I enslaved my friends I don't have to worry about this anymore

Jokes aside it has been a fantastic day, very productive and inspiring. Taking part to this competition is one of the best decisions I've ever taken so far.

HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOO PEOPLE OF LUDUM DARE

The jam has just ended and it was an amazing experience. Surely I'm going to participate to LD49 if I have the time. I just submitted my game Fish Quest and I'm extremely happy about the result.

Happy last three hours of coding!

Is ok to bug fix after the Jam ended?

Lots of people are saying that the controls of my game are slow and difficult for the kind of game I developed. Am I allowed to only fix this issue after the end of the Jam?
