Day 1 Complete!
After 5 hours brainstorming we have nearly finished all the art and will get working again tomorrow!
Ludum Dare 46
Lost 1/4 of my time that I could work on my game, but im in now
after a powercut for the whole morning i can now finally work on my game. the theme is ok but it wasnt my first choice, now to start my game!
Finally got an idea going
Im going to do a 3d infinite fast paced game maybe a bit like Spy Hunter for the nes and with powerups and different environments, hopefully i can make it work :D
Finally got some gameplay going
Obviously all the textures and models in this video are placeholders and it will eventually be a bike riding on an infinite road.
Finished my game!
My game progressed so much over the past two days. I started out with a prototype for the movement of the bike
And then over the next 20 hours i ended up with this final gameplay:

Started work
Ive started work on my rythm game, using unity HDRP does anyone know what those weird lines appearing on the stars are? (they look like motion blur but they appear even without motion blur)
I fixed it, I had per object motion vectors on the particle system
Made some incredible progress in the past hour
Definitely the best looking game i have made for LD yet!

Currently, you cannot hold down the button to glide across multiple lanes, I like that you cant do that as it makes the game more of a challenge to have to spam the button to move quickly, whats your thoughts?
I have discovered an extremely strange bug
A black square engulfs the game and only emmisive materials can be seen, does anyone know why this is? (Unity HDRP) Im pretty sure its a Unity issue. It also happens only rarely.
Welp, guess its time to fully reinstall unity
