My first game jam down!
This was quite the experience for me. I'm just a team of one, but I decided I wanted more time so I've spent the last 72 hours working frantically. Don't worry, I did sleep! But I still feel like I pushed myself pretty hard.
Now I have "Quantum Swarm".

I made a game where you design the circuitry of nanobots. This is a nod to to "A.I. Wars: The Insect Mind", a game I played in the 90s. In the end, "programming" the bots in that game wasn't as fulfilling as I would have wanted. I imagined this game would have more of a "swarm" feel, where communication can happen more organically. Additionally, "A.I. Wars" has you code in a stunted programming language. I thought it would be cool if you actually wired some stuff up!
My over-ambition comes through pretty easily. I added a lot of "functionality" that didn't make in into the "content". My six "levels" hardly scratch the surface of the nanobot circuitry system. I did however add an entirely undocumented "sandbox". I suppose it is at least a place my code lives on.
In the end, I'm actually quite happy with what I have. I look forward to everyone's comments. And I look forward to playing everyone else's game.
