First time and really have no idea what to expect. I guess I’ll see everyone on the other side!

For the Compo rules it says that content generators are allowed. Would that include something like http://www.heromachine.com which randomly generates characters? Is so would I need to opt out of the Graphics category?

To help explain the tool here are three examples from just clicking ‘Random All’:

Unfortunately I’ve run out of time so am dropping out. I was only able to set aside about 24hrs for the Compo and for my first LD it just wasn’t enough. But I’ll definitely want to be involved next time.

What I’ve learned, based on the mistakes I made:

• Try to have as much of the full time allocation available as possible
• Have a cheat sheet of basic commands on hand as under pressure it’s easily to waste time on simple errors
• Have a library of useful functions (online and available to others)  so again time is not wasted
